Base is good but it over powers and makes vocals sound very week, though I tired tuning the sound in headphones app it still does the same, noise cancelling is not bad and the sound doesn’t go very loud

I’ve owned several pair of similar over ear wireless headphones over the years. Most of them fall into one of 2 categories – features forward or quality forward. The Sony WH-XB910N falls into the latter. Sound quality is fantastic for the price point – rich bass, sold mids and clear highs. Some notable features include: great noise canceling in the price range (but with only on or off - no variable levels), 2 devices simultaneously connection (very useful), an accompanying mobile app that allows for solid equalizer controller, but the auto switching noise canceling is annoying- something most people are going to want to disable after being interrupted by the little chime every time you go from moving to stationary. Battery quality is good – Sony claims 30 hours with noise canceling on! Headphones are partially collapsible and fit nicely in the included hard case. The build quality is nice but lack a premium feel that other similar units seem to have. In general, though, I like how light and comfortable they are. Excellent for long wear. Great mid-range over ear headphones. Top notch sound and solid build quality – comfortable and solid noise canceling. Excellent buy!

These headphones have a great fit over the ear and make a nice seal. They aren't overly bulky or heavy and are pretty comfortable for extended periods. They fold very nicely into it's case. It would be nice if the case had some kind of loop or strap so it can be clipped to a bag or something for travel. Noise cancelling is excellent, and you can easily toggle to ambience if you want to start talking to people. Audio sounds great through it as well. On top of using it for music, it is excellent on phone calls. I've had multiple callers verify clear call audio quality. While the touch controls/gestures are need, i'd personally prefer physical buttons, regardless how dated they'd look. When trying to adjust them, take them off/on, its very easy to start changing volume/seeking/pause/etc. Perhaps if it involved multiple taps or taps and slides to prevent accidental gestures that would be better The app is easy to set up and use and has a lot of customization to be had.

Great audio quality, plenty of bass. Vinyl ear cups cushions and head band cushion were still comfortable after an hour of wear. Build quality is plastic but doesn't feel cheap. Included semi-hard case is a nice add for storage or packing for travel. Audio passthrough works well with the touch of a button. Active noise canceling also works well for a headset in this price range. Phone calls are clear with the dual mics and the wearer is easy to understand in ideal conditions. Battery life is good at around 40 hours, depending on volume and features being used. Charge time is quick for the amount of battery life you get. The included headphone jack is nice to have in the event the battery is dead and you need to use the headset. Touch controls on the right ear cup are inconsistent and I stopped using them completely. Worth a buy if on sale and if you want extra bass.

To connect your phone with Bluetooth you should turned off the other devices closer to you headset

Excellent headphones, the sound quality is superb. I am admittedly a bit of a bass head however, I also enjoy having hood sound quality in my headphones. I had been searching for some high bass headphones that did not drown out the mids and highs with overbearing lows. I am pleased to say that these are them! They sound great out of the box but the ability to change the EQ on these cans is what really sold them for me. This was important because I enjoy listening to multiple genres of music all of which require different levels of bass. The noise canceling on these are phenomenal as well they do an excellent job of tuning out the noises of a loud gym. Which is especially good with all the new year new me people crowding the gyms this time of year. Great battery life, solid look, amazing sound, great features, and not a bad price. I got mine on black Friday but I have still seen them go for 150-200 afterwards. Compared to the Skull candy crusher evos and ANC 2's I would take the Sony's any day as they are much more versatile and have a better sound quality in my opinion.

Good not great. I really like these headsets but it only a little better than my WH-CH710 ones I gave to my kid. They still have that plastic feel, though it's lightweight, it still feels less premium. The comfort level is good for long sessions. The controls are good and functional. Easy to reach and volume up and down is easy to manage. But, again, I can't give them 5 stars due to the flimsy plastic feel of the cups and band. Overall, it does a great job of keeping most noise out. You can still hear a bit of sound even with noise-canceling on. Plus would be they came with a hard carrying case which others I looked at did not or they came with a bag that would not do any good at protecting the headset. As far as sound quality, again, good not great. Not really feeling the extra bass in XB. You may need to go into the app to mess with the sound quality to get it just right but again, overall does a good job. The Bluetooth connection is pretty good. Hooks up to both my two devices I assigned easier and quickly. Battery life is standard 30 hours or so give or take a few hours. Never ran them down though. Are there others out there with a better premium build and sound quality? Yes, but for the Black Friday price, these worked just fine.

Very cool and comfortable. They hold a charge for a few days and are lightweight enough to wear for extended periods of time! I bought these for my husband who frequently uses them to call family members outside of the country and we have had great sound on both ends. Not terribly fancy, but not cheap quality or price. Easy set-up and connection to android. A solid pair of headphones that will last!

For the price, you get a good bass signal and reasonable noise canceling. A comfortable fit and a good battery life as well. The max volume doesn't go high enough for my taste, and they won't connect automatically after being paired to my television. Otherwise, they're a good product... basically.

I absolutely love these headphones!! They’re pretty comfortable even after 10 hours of wear. The ear pads are soft and comfortable and they fit great. The sound is beyond awesome!! They have pretty good heavy bass too. You can use these in the Sony Headphones App and fine tune your sound, bass level, etc. even more to your liking. They are a nice upgrade from my MDR-XB950N1’s. The bass is more balanced in these I think. The bass in my 950N1’s was a bit too over the top for me, but those were awesome headphones too. The battery life in the 910’s is pretty awesome and lasts for a few days even after listening to music or videos for an extended length of time. The connection was quick and easy. I bought these on sale for 178.00 and I would have paid the full price for them. I just happened to get lucky there. I also own a pair of WH-1000XM4’s. Those are pretty awesome sounding and comfortable as well, but my favorites are the WH-XB910N headphones.

Do not buy these. Worked well, but after 3 months the soft material of the ear cup started to break down. Best buy says it is out of their warranty period and Sony says this is not covered under their warranty.

These headphones sound very good. I guess I like bass in my music because I love the bass these headphones output. The sound quality of these headphones is very good. You can use the headphones wired or with bluetooth. In wired mode you can use them without turning them on or for better sound quality and noise cancelling on use them with the power on. The over the ear cups actually block out much of the sound. The noise cancelling does work but it does not block out everything, With power on the battery lasts approximately 30 hours and takes about 4 hours to recharge to 100%.

I fell in love with these as soon as I put them on! I was a Beats headphones kinda gal, but these have taken my loyalty. I love the comfort that these have when worn for short or extended periods. The battery life is superb! The sound is amazing, and the bass... OMGosh!! And there's an app that you can change the dynamics of the sounds you hear, whether just listening to sounds in your environment (Ambient sound control), your position (adaptive sound control), or an equalizer!

Purchased this set of headphones during the July 2022 Best Buy "Prime Days" and it has now replaced my Apple AirPods Max for juicy, thumpy and overall awesome set pair that I currently own. It's much more compact to bring along in my backpack and unlike the AirPods Max's pathetic sleeve this actually has a nice case included. Sound Quality: This is always subjective but when I was younger, Sony made some Bass branded Walkmans (yep, I'm old) and those were amazing sounding when listening to cassettes. This brings me back to those days when I can tune out the world and just enjoy my music. The songs I play range from old classic rock to drum and bass, metal, R&B, techno and current pop hits and they all sound much fuller than the AirPods Max since there is more low end power. Comfort: I can wear these all 7 hours max when I'm working at my cushy office job. No issues with the band clamping my head like a vise and very comfy ear cups that fit my large dumbo ears. Noise Cancelling: Very good, not as isolating like a Bose QC, AirPods Max or even Sonys top end XM line but it does the job of drowning out my annoying co-workers that are 30-40 feet away that like speak to loudly for their own good. Haven't taken it on a plane trip but I'm sure it'll hold its own. Battery Life: Exceptional!! Like I said above, I use this mainly for office work to listen to music and for about 5-6 hours Monday - Friday it'll last me a week and half roughly. BlueTooth Connection: Outstanding. Links up to my Windows PC laptop, Apple iMac desktop, my iPhone 11 Pro Max without any hiccups. Solid wireless connectivity. Misc: This is my first Sony NC headphones and I've always wanted their premium XM1000s but $350 was a bit too high and if you get these at Best Buy's sale, they were too good to pass up. I also like the way you can use your palm to cover up the right ear cup to use ambient mode and swiping your finger across to skip to the next track, just a couple nice features that Sony has implemented. There's also an app you can download to fine tune your sound preferences. Conclusion: Take a demo listen at the store and see how much you'll enjoy these.
