However, we are sorry if you are experiencing discomforts while wearing the headphones on a short period of time. Allow us to help make this a better experience. Put on the headset with the earpads fitting snugly over your ears, adjust the slider to a length where the headband touches the top of your head and adjust the orientation of the left and right units so that the earpads fit snugly all around your ears. If you put on the headset without adjusting the slider, the headset may not be positioned properly on your head, resulting in discomfort or a weak noise canceling effect. I have yet to try the noise cancelling feature on an airplane, which is what I bought them for. As these are my first noise cancelling headphones, there is nothing to compare them to.

A Good Set of Soundproofed Headphones

They work amazingly well and so far my sibling is absolutely happy to have them! I was told the soundproofing helps him well ,as he has very sensitive hearing, and enjoys it greatly!

DECENT ENTRY LEVEL HEADPHONES

If you have big ears like me though, they begin to hurt a little after a few hours. I'm happy with the purchase so far though, and feel that they have really good value at this price point.

Average sound quality, frustrating app

These headphones didn’t sound great when I paired them with my computer, so I went to set up the app in hopes of tweaking the settings. That is when the frustration started. I already had the app on my phone for my other Sony headphones, so I opened it and selected the option to add another device. I followed the simple instructions, but the app didn’t find the headphones. I turned them off and back on – no change. I unpaired them from my phone and tried again but the result was unchanged. I even deleted the app and reloaded it, but it was like the headphones didn’t exist. I’m fairly competent with technology, I have a house full of smart gadgets that I install and use with no problem, so I’m fairly certain I’m not at fault here. If I am at fault, then I feel for anyone who struggles to get their smart devices back online after a power outage because this is far less intuitive than that. The sound is just not great by default, and I can’t adjust that without the app, so these are likely to sit in a drawer as my backup headphones.
