Honest review

The noise canceling is eh. Yes it works but you have to turn it up pretty loud in my opinion. However, note that I have sensitive hearing so I like to keep the volume low. Plus, I listen to instrumental music so I just hear bass/beats which is why I prefer to keep the volume low. Yet, when it's low, I personally can still hear outside noise. Sooooo, taking this all into consideration they are good headphones. Clear sound, but in my opinion not as noise canceling as I'd like. Hope this review helps.

Great noise cancellation

Saw these and bought them on the way to the airport :) Easy enough to setup which I did on the bus ride. Even installed their app and adjusted the equalizer. Bottom line is the noise cancellation was very effective! Sound quality was good too. Probably would not have bought them for sound quality though as I think you can do just as good for less. But with the noise cancellation these are winners.

The noise cancelling is heavily lacking when compared to a pair of 99 dollar Bose I used to own, but honestly they satisfy my day to day work needs. For flights with crying babies, you NEED to listen to something for the noise cancelling to be effective. They are decently comfortable, and fit my head just fine. The microphone is GOD awful. My friends said I sounded like my old webcam mic from over 13 years ago. That's heinous when you consider the brand and especially the cost. The battery life is definitely great. However, we'll see how much it degrades over a year.

Sony is a solid headphone brand

Sony is right up there with Bose in noise canceling quality. Since the headphones cover the whole ear the sound is outstanding.
