I bought the as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. He told me he wanted headsets preferably sony and he love this gift, he used it for his 25 hour flight back to Norway

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s a pretty good canceling noise device but the one thing we didn’t enjoy was the fact we had to download an app for a sony headphones which we didn’t know about and it took a little while for us to figure it out. Once we downloaded it, it was perfect. I guess it is nice that it is now just connected to the one ipad we wanted to use it for, it doesn’t change to any other devices because they don’t have the app for it.

For future use, once the headphones are paired and set up with your preferred device (like your iPad), you don’t need to reopen the app every time—they’ll connect automatically. App makes it easy to control the way want to hear what you are listening to. The app gives you the ability to to turn on and off noise cancelling, but the battery life changes dramatically when it is on.

However, it's not clear when the headphones are on or off, and connecting them to my devices was a challenge at first. I also think the noise cancelling aspect could be a little stronger. I wore them on two separate plane trips and both times, a lot of ambient noise still came through despite the noise cancelling being active.
