We also completely understand that the complete absence of ambient sound can be a bit disorienting. That feeling of being "messing with your head" is precisely why we included the Ambient Sound Mode feature, which allows you to hear background noise while still enjoying your music.
To help you find that perfect balance, we recommend two things:
Use the NC/AMB Button: Press the NC/AMB (Noise Canceling/Ambient Sound Mode) button on your headphones to quickly cycle from Noise Canceling ON to Ambient Sound Mode ON.
Adjust the Level in the App: For the ultimate control, open the Sony | Headphones Connect app. Here, you can select Ambient Sound Mode and use the slider to fine-tune the exact level of background noise you want to hear—from just a tiny bit up to a level where you can have a conversation.

They are ok, but not worth the price.

They have a good sound quality, battery lasts a lot and the noise cancellation works (not as good as the xm4s). What I don't like is that they have sound leak because I can't use them around other people without them hearing the songs I'm listening to. They do their job, but I think I could have found a similar product for cheaper.

However, in a quiet room, some degree of sound leakage may still occur depending on individual factors such as fit and the volume at which you are listening to your music or other audio. To prevent sound leakage, make sure to adjust the slider to find your ideal fit and enjoy hours of comfortable listening. Additionally, reducing the volume level can also help to minimize sound leakage.
