They help on long flights or trips to help keep the sound down and cancelled our. The fir is comfortable and light. Sometimes it feels like nothing is on your head. A Good Product At a Good Price

Unlike the ones that you wear in your ears, all surrounding sound is completely "blocked out". So all you hear is what is playing in your Sony Headphones!

His aunt got him a pair of Beats, also a Christmas gift. He decided that he liked the Sony far more, and returned the Beats. He told me that the Sony felt better, and sounded better. I always with Sony for my electronics. Never any regrets when you go for reliable quality.

Noise cancellation isn't the best, but it does noticeably eliminate background noise to a degree that you can use lower volume and block out ambient noise. My main gripe is the buttons aren't easy to identify by feel and the material inside the earcups feels cheap for headphones of this price. Otherwise, the battery life is 8/10, sound quality is 7.5/10 and value is 7.5/10

He has a few issues with the equalization and noise canceling and the microphone but I had no idea Best Buy had such a small return window! 15 days! I bought these for my son's birthday so they were bought early and not returnable. Now that I know that, I will not be buying anymore high ticket items from Best Buy in the future. These were expensive enough that I should have been able to at least exchange for store credit so my son could have gotten a different pair since he isn't happy with them. Terrible customer service for expensive items. Buy somewhere else!!
