The Sony WHCH720N Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones are a great set of headphones. These headphones are incredibly lightweight, they feel good on your head. I can imagine wearing these on a plane and actually falling asleep with them comfortably resting on my head and ears. Set up was easy. These immediately connected to my iPhone 13. There is an app called Headphones Connect, that walks you through orientating the sound set up for optimal sound. It takes pictures of your ears. There is some true quality sound coming out of these! It really immersve. Had to update the app and headphones immediately upon syncing and it took about half an hour to complete. They came with a good charge, and come with a usb charging cable as well as a 3.5mm adapter cord to plug into. Battery life has been good so far. I would love it if it came with a case or carrying bag. Looking at others in this category i think thats the only thing missing and is easily fixed by buying your own. Overall these are quality headphones with great sound. I'm glad to have them & will benefit from their use next time I'm on a flight.

Really enjoying these new Sony WH-CH720N headphones! So far I’ve found them to have great audio performance and they are surprisingly lightweight. The sound right out of the box is great. But to really bring the sound to life, download and use the Sony headphone app. The additional abilities the app gives in adjusting the sound to your liking make a difference. The headphones feel nicely built and I’m really impressed with how lightweight they are. They are really comfortable and unlikely to cause fatigue from wearing them for extended periods of time. The controls are pretty standard and easy to understand. The noise cancellation works very well. This is a feature that has really improved on headphones over the years. And to be honest, with how well the cushions fit over your ears you might find you really don’t need the noise cancellation in many situations. Additional features such as hands free calling and ability to use them with the included standard 3.5mm headphone cable work great as well. A USB to USB-C cable is included for charging, but like most products these days no charging block is included. Battery life is said to be around 35 hours and I would say that’s a honest estimate. Overall these are a great set of headphones that are easy to recommend.

I bought these headphones instead of the Bose QuietComfort 45 which I originally intended to buy. These headphones don't have good noise cancelling and the sound quality is very poor. They had an app that supports spatial audio but you are required to pay for them. It's not worth it.

I bought these headphones for my kids, and they are very happy with them. The sound quality is clear and balanced, and the noise canceling works well for studying, watching videos, and travel. Sony as a brand overall is great quality. They have a line of headphones for every budget. Obviously the more expensive the price, the better the sound quality. Noise cancellation is adequate. The ear foam material used is decent but I foresee it not lasting over a couple of years from daily usage. Bass and treble is sufficient which is adjustable within the Sony Sound Connect app…otherwise you cannot adjust the EQ without the app. My only complaint is that it does not have super clear clarity on the sound but sounds more muffled. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars.

I’m writing this review bc I’m listening to Renaissance (for the 163892615th time) and I can hear every layer of music on each track. And if you know the album, you can only imagine how much of an experience that is. It’s like listening for the first time all over again, I could cry. My headphones came on March 1st. I ordered them bc I was looking for practically-priced headphones that were still high-quality. I went with these headphones because they’re price-conscious and I trust the Sony brand. I was surprised by how light-weight they were. At first I was concerned that might be due to cheap materials but I’m sure the weight is intentional, I just didn’t expect it. So, they’re light weight, affordable, great noise-cancelling software, amazing sound clarity, impressive battery life (haven’t charged mine since the first) Only thing I’m not fond of is the headphones don’t fold for easy storage. My last set did so it’s something I’m used to. That was my oversight though. Safe to say Beyonce saved my relationship with these headphones, so buy them and listen to your favorite album with the most instrumentation and enjoy!

For the price (particularly closer to $100 than $150), these are pretty hard to beat. Pros: - With some EQ tuning in the Sony phone app can provide some very good sound and clarity. Excited EQ preset is a good one - Enough bass for most songs paired with clarity for most musical genres as long as you're not looking for thundering bass - VERY comfortable as they are shockingly light and have just the right padding in all the right places... they feel much lighter than they look - These look nice and look more expensive than they are - I don't need ANC but this does an ok job if you turn it on. It doesn't produce noise cancellation miracles like the high end Sony's, Bose, or Apple headphones. Cons: - If you want that really deep bass, think the bass drop in the "Immortals" song by Fall Out Boy, you will NOT feel it with these headphones no matter what you do. The XB910n headphones will work for that. - When you turn on the headphones takes a noticeably long amount of time to connect to your device (compared to older Sony WCHC700N headphones I had) - Had a couple of times the connection dropped already. Reconnects in under 5 seconds but no rhyme or reason to it - So light they almost seem like toys... you will love it while wearing it but it is surprising to pick these up - Doesn't fold up small... folds flat and you'll need to buy a case if packing them up to keep them safe. Overall: - Solid buy if you're on a budget. Definitely try these out for fit at your local store... That sold me on these over the XB910Ns that were not as comfortable on my ears. - Covers all the music you'll likely listen to and looks/sounds good doing it - Very comfortable and no fatigue after hours of wear!

Really good! For the price point, it's really durable and the sound quality's great. Before, I used to have issues with any kind of headphones and earbuds as I would break them in under 2 weeks-1 month; I've had these for maybe 2 years now and they still function really well even though I've dropped them quite a few times... Super easy to connect and switch between which devices it's connected to! The noise cancellation is pretty good as well. Overall, I would really recommend these :)

I got these at the beginning of the year - so maybe 8 months ago - after my puppy ate my Beats. The beats were fine but they would make my ears really sweaty from the cushioning and sometimes my curly hair would get trapped in the outside seam and pull out some strands, so I was looking for some different headphones, preferably cheaper ones. I saw these and saw the good reviews - great price point for noise cancelling yada yada. Something i thought was strange though was that it was meant for "Apple and Android devices." I thought: how could head phones only be for these specific OS products? Here is what I don't see anyone talking about when they review these: you have to have this app for the full noise cancelling functionality to work. And for the life of me, it is such a terrible app. UI looks awful, and the worst part is even if your headphones have connected to your bluetooth, if you don't go in and click 'connect' it will kick you out of whatever you're listening to after 10 seconds. This to me is the most frustrating parts of wireless headphones. Getting ready to exercise or do a task, starting your song, and then getting hit with the "unpaired noise" and completing stopping your song or podcast. It's happened so many times and it is sooooo annoying. Sometimes it behaves nice and connects with no problem, and sometimes im staring at the UI waiting for it to connect. I don't think the functionality the app provides is worth having when the app itself is so badly designed. Funny thing is when ive connected them wirelessly to my computer with bluetooth, it connects off the rip. When ive deleted the app off my phone, the headphones wouldnt connect. So yes as headphones they're really not bad. Battery life is amazing on these and the sound quality really isnt bad either but wow the disconnecting thing is insanely frustrating

I did some research before purchasing this headset. The charge life is good at 35 hours and while it may not rank number 1 in all categories it ranks #1 in its light weight and comfort to wear. I fly a lot and you get a mixed bag on audio options depending on aircraft. This headset comes with an audio jack, Bluetooth and USB so it covers everything I’ve seen so far.

I've been using Sony headphones for a few months now, and they’ve exceeded my expectations in nearly every category. The headphones came partially charged so you may want to charge them before your first use. Included in the box are the headphones, USB-A to USB-C cable and a headphone cable. No case or bag is included. All of my testing was done via Bluetooth. I first connected to my computer to listen to music files, Sirius XM and general videos. There is no upconvert here. If the recording wasn’t high quality, the headphones made it sound even worse. Bass became exceptionally scratchy. High quality recordings sounded very good but I still noticed the bass off on a few songs (Flo Rida, My House). High notes were very good. Next was pairing with my iPad. Easy. Also paired with my Alexa (via Alexa app). Easy to pair and sound was very good. Pairing with my phone took a few tries. And this is where the headphones are problematic. The controls are so close together that I hung up on calls. Volume was very good. The noise cancelling was slightly better than the previous model but both myself and the person I was talking to could hear background noise. Headphone fit was excellent for my ears and very comfortable. Battery life was excellent and I didn’t have to charge for about 4 days. My husband even used them in that time frame when he was doing some yard work. These are average headphones. If you use them for casual listening or with a computer, they will probably be fine. If your primary use will be phone calls, there are much better options.

I haven’t owned a lot of headphones in my life so I don’t have a lot to compare these to, but I really enjoy these. I think they’re very comfortable to wear and I think the sound quality is great. I had a little bit of trouble getting them connected to more than one device, but I was able to figure it out. I mostly use them connected to my phone to listen to music and I haven’t had any issues with them disconnecting even when walking a little bit away from my phone. I would definitely recommend these.
