She was looking at some Bose headphones, but these were the balance between cost and quality (she wasnt paying for them, and I have bills to pay) overall great headphones!

Please ensure your headphones have the latest firmware update, as this can often resolve sound-related anomalies. You can check for updates using the Sony | Sound Connect app—consider creating a hearing profile!
We also understand your feedback on the physical buttons and the difficulty in quickly finding the fast-forward function. We designed the controls to be intuitive, but we recognize that the layout can take some getting used to. For your reference, to fast-forward you need to press the middle button twice quickly, holding the second press.
