These headphones can be connected wirelessly to compatible Bluetooth devices such as TVs, computer, smartphones, etc. that supports A2DP Bluetooth profile. You may connect these headphones to compatible TV so you can get audio from your PlayStation. Though we recommend using headphones that are specifically designed for consoles. Your feedback about the noise canceling function, connectivity, and design is greatly appreciated. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Headphones Connect app).

For connectivity issues, set the headset to “Priority on stable connection” on the Sony app. Bluetooth communications may be disabled, or noise or audio dropout may occur under the following conditions:

-When there is a human body between the headset and the Bluetooth device.
-When this is the case, turn the Bluetooth device to face the same direction as the antenna of the headset to improve the Bluetooth communications.
-When there is an obstacle, such as metal or a wall, between the headset and the Bluetooth device
-In places with wireless LAN, where a microwave oven is used, electromagnetic waves are generated, etc.
-Where there are other wireless communication audio devices or other people nearby, such as in train station premises or on a crowded train

The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. We’d really like to help you get these sounding the way they should.

Regarding the app, we recently rebranded it from "Headphones Connect" to Sony | Sound Connect. It is definitely our official Sony app and we are constantly working on updates to make it better. It’s the best place to go to keep your headphones updated and to customize your sound.

To fix that muffled sound, we highly recommend downloading the app and playing around with the Equalizer settings.
Also, please make sure the app is set to "Priority on Sound Quality" so you're getting the best possible signal.

Hi ValeriaR We're glad that the headphones work great for walking and workouts. You may be experiencing a symptom called listener fatigue. That is where your eardrums work hard to manage the volume that flows through your ear canal. The louder the volume, the bigger the strain on your eardrums, which then causes the feeling of fatigue.
Note: Try lowering the volume or take a break from wearing them for a while.
How long have you been wearing the headphones? The longer you wear headphones, the more your ears may hurt.
Note: You may need to limit your headphone usage.

For low sound level, please try some solutions below:
Adjust the volume of the headset and the connected device.
Connect the Bluetooth device to the headset once again.
Reset the headset.
Initialize the headset, and pair the headset and the device again.
* If the sound is still low even after adjusting the volume on the connected device, adjust the volume with the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app.

For the bass sound, this usually depends on the source that you're playing and audio device that you are using.You can use the equalizer function of the Sony Headphones Connect app to tailor-fit the sound quality to your needs. Some of these issues can also be fixed by adjusting the equalizer function or the bass sound settings of the connected device.
