    A Good Set of Soundproofed Headphones

    Got them for my sibling and they was so happy to have gotten them. They work amazingly well and so far my sibling is absolutely happy to have them! I was told the soundproofing helps him well ,as he has very sensitive hearing, and enjoys it greatly!

    The headphones are good overall. I find the noise canceling could be betterand it auto adjusts to ambient sound when walking.

    DECENT ENTRY LEVEL HEADPHONES

    Have these for less than 24hrs, but my initial reaction with about 6 hrs of use is that they are a little better than expected. If you have big ears like me though, they begin to hurt a little after a few hours. I'm happy with the purchase so far though, and feel that they have really good value at this price point.

    Average sound quality, frustrating app

    I use headphones daily for online meetings, VOIP calls, and listening to music on my computer. These headphones didn’t sound great when I paired them with my computer, so I went to set up the app in hopes of tweaking the settings. That is when the frustration started. I already had the app on my phone for my other Sony headphones, so I opened it and selected the option to add another device. I followed the simple instructions, but the app didn’t find the headphones. I turned them off and back on – no change. I unpaired them from my phone and tried again but the result was unchanged. I even deleted the app and reloaded it, but it was like the headphones didn’t exist. I’m fairly competent with technology, I have a house full of smart gadgets that I install and use with no problem, so I’m fairly certain I’m not at fault here. If I am at fault, then I feel for anyone who struggles to get their smart devices back online after a power outage because this is far less intuitive than that. The sound is just not great by default, and I can’t adjust that without the app, so these are likely to sit in a drawer as my backup headphones.

    What a great waste of money! If you have too much money and want a great way to burn it without setting it on fire, these are the headphones for you! I read so many reviews before I purchased these. A lot of them say they were reviewed after a week of ownership, etc. I bought a pair of these, thinking I had done research just by reading the reviews on the Best Buy website. I was wrong. They broke within less than a month the with the first pair I had. My boyfriend and I went to Best Buy to get a refund a couple of weeks later. It was past the warranty date, but the Best Buy customer service representative gladly let us exchange them for a new pair because we bought the extended warranty. Our extended warranty, however, did not transfer over to the new pair. I didn't buy the extended warranty the second time around because I thought maybe I had just gotten a bad pair the first time. If they broke again, why would I want another pair of these headphones, they'd be pieces of crap. Well, here I am sitting writing this review. My second pair just stopped working. When I say these don't work, I mean that yes, they're noise cancelling. Yes, the Bluetooth connects. Yes, when you tap the power button it will tell you the battery charge level. However, despite all of this, if you try to play music or watch a video with these connected via bluetooth you won't be able to hear it. Isn't that the original reason people buy headphones? Isn't that the original goal the Sony engineers should have had in mind when making these? Not to mention the short charging wire the length of my pinkie they come with right out of the box. It's okay though, because in my experience you can't listen to anything while they're charging anyway. They just don't work These are a great disappoint and a greater waste of my time, money, and energy. Yes, they will connect to multiple devices seamlessly. Yes, they're budget-ish headphones. Yes, they're noise cancelling. But they don't play sound. What's the point? I could just buy ear plugs instead. I expected better from a household name brand to be honest. I will not be purchasing Sony headphones again

      We regret to hear that there is no sound when using the headphones. For optimum performance, make sure to install the latest software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). Make sure to follow the troubleshooting steps on this link to help resolve the issue:

      Here are the steps to reset and initialize the headset:

      Resetting the headset
      -Connect the headset to an AC outlet. Use the supplied USB Type-C cable and a commercially available USB AC adaptor.
      -Press the (power) button and the NC/AMB (noise canceling/Ambient Sound Mode) button simultaneously. The headset will be reset.

      The pairing information and other settings are retained. If the headset does not operate correctly even after resetting, initialize the headset to restore factory settings.

      Initializing the headset
      -Turn off the headset. Remove the USB Type-C cable.
      -Press and hold the (power) button and (play/call) button for about 10 seconds or more. When the initializing is complete, the indicator (blue) flashes 4 times

      This operation resets volume settings, etc. to the factory settings, and deletes all pairing information. In this case, delete the pairing information for the headset from the connected device and then pair them again.

    Great headphones if you're looking for something not too cheap or expensive. the app is quite the navigation so I didn't bother in going through it but you can change the bass in the app.

    honestly they’re really good but for the price, i expected a little bit better noise canceling. they also don’t bend so putting them in my gym bag is slightly scary haha

    I found I can't use headphones of any kind because they plug my ears even at a very low volume. Otherwise they worked great.
