I do construction work in mine and they've saved my head countless times, as well as providing excellent noise protection. My kids put a solid 80 hours a week use, for years on these. The only weak point is the swivel, but it took 2 years for that to fail. So I'd say these are a solid choice. 100% our go to headphones. I have a set of Bose, as a comparison, these may not have the sound clarity, but they fit better and stay on better.

While a wired connection does indeed work with these headphones, I believe there is a DSP in the Bluetooth connection which improves the sound significantly. In wired mode, the headphones don't sound all that good. There is also the issue of wired mode not working while the headphones are powered on. Wired mode only seems to work when the headphones are powered off. All I get is a static noise while they are turned on. After updating the firmware and software and using the Sony app I found there is still no change, so basically wired mode doesn't work with the noise cancelling. The headphones are also not all that comfortable over a long period, but still average overall. With all that being said I still find the noise cancelling effective and the sound good enough over Bluetooth so I kept the headphones. I wish the headphones delivered on their promise or were at least up front about the limitations related to wired mode. Otherwise the headphones are pretty good.

The chime noise when it connects is far more pleasant than the sterile robot voices others use. Good battery life and reasonably durable. Very comfortable to wear Only tricky part is finding the answer call button. I often hit the volume up or down one by accident.

The excellent battery life, rated for up to 35 hours with Noise Cancelling enabled, along with the comfortable, lightweight design, makes them perfect for all-day listening, which is exactly what they were engineered for.
In relation to the call button issue, to help you identify it without looking, look for a small, raised dot or bump on its surface. While the volume controls are typically the ends of a rocker switch, the call button features that distinct tactile marker to guide your finger by touch.

Let me say that I found what i was looking for when I bought these headphones. I cut grass with a zero turn mower and these headphones almost completely cancel that noise of the lawnmower while wearing them. I cut a yard twice because i was so engaged with the sound coming from these headphones. If those other more expensive headphones can offer a better experience than these, I guess I will never know bc these are absolutely perfect for me.
