Found them on sale for $99.99 and couldn’t pass up on it. Since having it for a few months, these headphones have become my favorite pair. Good noise canceling that rivals more expensive headphones. True to the Sony brand, these headphones are well built and comfortable to wear for hours.

Great for the price…

Flat out, you get what you pay for. I think these headphones are great for your average user but for the more techcentric and audiophile oriented people these headphones can be seen as a little lacking. Comfortability, wearing these for around an hour or two is fine, although depending on your ear size the plastic part near your ear may cause some discomfort but I think that realistically goes for any over the ear headphone especially for this price range. The biggest selling point for these headphones I would have to say is the noise cancelling. I think the noice cancelling on these headphones is alright. Not amazing as at times I can still notice backgroud noise if I focus on listening for it. But if Im not focused on it and just doing work theyre great to keep the background noise to a minimum. I think the best part of this purchase is the app that sony has dedicated to their headphones and ear phones. It allows pairing to two devices at one time (which I find super useful) and the trabsition between devices is seamless. There is also the option to rework your buttons for noice cancelling and a transparency mode. Soeaking of transparency it is also okay as its not the best but it still works fine. The one qualm I have with these headphones is the microphone, though with any bluetooth headphones, I usualy suspect the microphone to not be great. Ive usually been told when I speak with a normal tone I sound a little quiet or muffled on the other end. Which leads to me having to speak a little louder than usual, where I end up just switching to talking on my phone because I would rather not be loud in public spaces. Overall these headphones I think are great for entry level users especially if you can get these on sale!

Great value good headphone

Great sound, but horrible microphone

One thing I will say- the microphone is not good quality at all. Every time I want to hop on a call, I either have to set it to my MacBook microphone (if I can on zoom) or use another pair of headphones if I'm on FaceTime or something. If you will be calling a lot with these, I'd suggest finding another

Painless To Use & Great Value for the Money

Bought these for work since my home setup is Apple-only. Pairs with my office laptop (Dell) flawlessly every single time - which was my number one concern. (I haven't tried switching them back and forth, so I can't speak to that.) Sound and mic are both decent (not studio quality by any means, but fine for Spotify and Microsoft Teams, which is all I use them for) and the controls are reasonably intuitive (pressing the power button gives you a nice spoken battery percentage, and the volume + play/pause buttons are hard to tell apart, but you get used to it). I also give these high marks for convenience. Noise cancelling is pretty robust; it works well in a busy office, and they're comfortable enough to wear for an hour or two at a time (they are heavy enough that you know they're there, though - I don't know that I'd wear them for hours and hours on end uninterrupted). But what really surprised me is range and battery life. I only have to charge them maybe once a week with intermittent usage throughout the day, they charge really quickly, and the range is good enough that I can get up and walk to get a cup of coffee from the break room (approx 50 feet / two walls away) no problem.
