I bought these for a long flight and they lived up to my expectations. I used the noise cancellation for the entire flight while sleeping, listening to music and watching several shows. Good sound poor noise canceling

It may only reduce noise 10% not sure if I have a defective unit. I have a cheaper pair of an off brand that had impressive noise-canceling but the power switch broke. I have used them on my diesel tractor but not Sony. I thought Sony would be as good, if not better.
