We’d really like to help you get these sounding the way they should.

Regarding the app, we recently rebranded it from "Headphones Connect" to Sony | Sound Connect. It is definitely our official Sony app and we are constantly working on updates to make it better. It’s the best place to go to keep your headphones updated and to customize your sound.

To fix that muffled sound, we highly recommend downloading the app and playing around with the Equalizer settings.
Also, please make sure the app is set to "Priority on Sound Quality" so you're getting the best possible signal.

If you feel that it is higher than expected, please ensure the headphones are fit correctly. The better the seal around your ears the less sound will leak out. Thank you for your time writing this review. We're sorry if the WHCH720N did not work with your son's PS5. You can connect this headphones to your Television (via Bluetooth- the TV must support Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile)) so you can get the audio from the PlayStation 5.
