These headphones were a replacement item for another pair of Sony headphones. Have had great success with this product and this brand.

Works well for an elderly gentleman and enables his wife to enjoy the same show on tv without blasting the speakers.

These headphones from an otherwise reputable company did both the expected and unexpected. I spent the money (>$250) so that my hard-of-hearing, 94-year-old father could enjoy baseball games. Which he did right up until almost the arrival of the last second of the manufactures' warranty. First the left ear went out all of a sudden and never to return regardless of trouble-shooting via Sony's website. Then, so too departed the right ear. You can and must do better, SONY! And you, too, BEST BUY! I didn't know that you sold $hyte, but I sure do now.

This come in handy when family is in bed & I have trouble hearing. So that’s why I bought this.

I like it so far but I just haven't gotten a chance to get used to them yet

Purchased these 6 months ago and they already stopped working. After taking them off the charger, the power light turns on, but no sound comes out. Left them on for 3 days took them off, turned them on and the sound came on but was low even with the volume turned all the way up. Lasted for a minute and half and then went out. Power light indicator was still on.

Love Sony products, use to to others enjoy evening TV or early morning and is not disruptive

Ideal for people that have to turn the tv up louder than what is comfortable for others with normal hearing ability .

I love them, now my wife can go to bed and ask to lower the volume when its already down to 6

purchased for my mother so she could watch tv without being disturbed. she loves them.

In room with insomniac, this is a game changer. Simple to use. She has headphones, I have blindfolds, and all is great.

I bought these headphones thinking they were bluetooth and they aren't. It has a base station that plugs into the earphone jack on the tv and then connects "wirelessly" to the headphones. I kept them anyway and have used them for only a few hours until the headphones started generating loud popping noises which hurt my eardrums when it happened. At first it was occasionally, now it happens so much that they aren't wearable for fear of damaging my eardrums. Very disappointed. Too late to return...time for the trash can.

I bought these as a present for my girlfriend. She uses them while on the treadmill. She absolutely loves them!!

I purchased these headphones about 2 months ago. I am now outside my return window, unfortunately, because the headset is not good at all. It constantly drops the connection to the base. The only solution I found is unplugging it, turning it off and on, and restarting it repeatedly. Changing the channel does not help. It's frustrating. When the phones are connected and operating, the sound quality is diminished by an audible humming in the background. Nothing I've been able to do fixes that issue. For the price, these headphones are terrible, particularly for Sony.

These tv headphones are comfortable and reliable. Previous set lasted for 7 years.
