Got the Sony first, they were cheaper and had decent reviews. They were just not good and kept making scanning noises. Took them back and got the Insignia- which has the added benefit of optical SPDIF in. Much better and very happy with them. Sounds good watching TV and Movies.

This is my second WHRF headset and it works great and keeps my wife happy because she does not get blasted our with a loud TV.

at this point we keep having trouble - we have the unit on charge and go to use it and it doesn't work. Planning to call the company or return it. there is static and then it cuts out sometimes after listening for a short period of time.

These are great quality i use them every night before i go to bed

At night when my wife goes bed we fight over the sound level of the tv. I thought if I got these headphones it would probably save my marriage. Well these headphones sure make it a lot more peaceful at night when she goes to bed. I can turn them up as loud as I want and she can go to sleep without me bothering her while I watch tv.

Perfect for preventing my father who has hearing loss from blasting audio throughout the house. the cordless recharging station is very nice.

i you can listen to the tv at a normal level while my wife can control her own volume through the headset, great.

If you want to permanently switch audio from your TV to these headphones (more or less), this is probably an okay choice, but who wants to do that? As soon as you plug the headphone jack into the TV headphone receiver jack, the audio cuts over from the TV speakers to the headphones. The only way to get the audio back on the TV speakers is to unplug the jack from the TV! Who wants to do that, especially when the back of the TV isn't always readily accessible! Go the Bluetooth route and have it do the switch automatically!

I returned a defective Sony headset. The Best Buy person was extremely professional in handling the situation.

Excellent quality for the money. Comfortable to wear during a long binge watching. Charges quickly. No issues.
