Sony Headphones Compatibility Issues?

I didn't think I did anything wrong. The only thing that the problem could be is that there were some compatibility issues with this Sony product and installing on a different brand name electronic device.

This is not the fault of Best Buy, they only sell them, Sony makes them, and compared to their now discontinued similarly priced model MDR RF985R these really stink. I have both, and the WHRF400 is the inferior product.

The only reason I keep them is that I don’t get interference in the headphones from my Starkey hearing aids. My previous Sony headphones had much better sound and i might just go back to them and take off the hearing aids. Also the volume dial is to hard to find.
