My Sony Bravia no longer supports the Sony bluetooth headphones I used to use, so had to switch to the RF ones. These headphones are easy to set up. The sound quality is OK, but not quite as good as my old bluetooth Sony headphones.

It was much more complicated to set this up than I was told. It does NOT just plug in the same way the earlier model we have does. We actually had to call the Geek Squad to help us!! The sound is very good, which is the main thing.

Had an old pair for years that finally died off. Purchased these for under $100, definitely worth it. Use these at night while everyone’s in bed and they work great. The only thing that doesn’t work that great is controlling my laugh while watching comedies at night.

These headphones make it easier for my husband to listen to his shows without making it uncomfortable for me. He says he can actually hear the show better than turning up the volume.

Sony WHRF400 RF headphone review for TVs

A suitable wireless replacement for my older Bluetooth headphones that stopped working with our TV. Sound quality and adjustments are good with this newly purchased Sony WHRF400 RF, although it must be unplugged whenever we want to hear the TV by outloud for multiple viewers. That is difficult because the input site of back of our TV is very hard to reach when wanting to unplug or again again re-plug in the headphones.

Work great for a little bit. I’ve had 2 sets and this last pair quit charging on the dock after 6 months probably. Even if you’re careful to set them carefully on the dock, they somehow lose connection after you walk away. I’ll look in to any warranty coverage. These are too expensive to not even last a year!

Great sound versatile easy to charge by just setting on the home. One problem doesn't stand up to rough ness. Wires going to ear pieces break or dislodge with excessive handling. So they are great for maticulous individuals get the warranty if you are sometimes one to toss things around.

I have to wear hearing aids to hear. Listening to TV with a good sound bar is not the same with hearing aids, so I wanted something that had good sound and I didn't want anything that i had to put into my ear. These headphones work great for me, Just what i was looking for. The only have one negative, I can't hear other sounds like my wife talking to me while I have them on. They are not noise-canceling headset, but I really like them.

I am hard of hearing and the headphones work great. The voice sound is clear and distinct. The music during commercials is so loud I have to remove one earphone until it's over. With just my hearing aid, the voices are mostly unintelligible. For hard of hearing people remember to not use your hearing aid when using them.

I purchased this wireless headphone to replace a earlier version Sony wireless headphone that I use for TV viewing. I needed to replace the ear cushions, for the second time, on the original headset and I wanted to see if I can get better range. The range of the new WHRF-400 headset is much better and the headset itself is a bit smaller than the older version with the ear cushions fitting over the ear much better.

I bought this for my husband. He stays up late at night and the tv noise keeps me up. Now I can sleep and he watch tv as long as he wants. He is hard of hearing and this is perfect for him. The sound quality is excellent. the only thing is that they are very large, but he is fine with it

Took three tries to get a set that didn't cut in and out. Otherwise, very comfortable on my head and good sound quality
