I'm listening to a ballgame wearing them as I post this. They're absolutely great. Really enhances the audio experience!! I really recommend these headphones.

this is not a bad head set but sony made a better one before this model, these do the job for someone who can't hear the TV very well. Its just the ear cup was redesigned and this one is just ok, the later model cupped your ears better. however, sound & performance is great

The ear covers don't make you ears too hot, and they are good sound.

I purchased these headphones so I could control my own volume while watching TV with others. They work perfectly and allow me to hear with great clarity at lower volumes than before.

I bought these to use to watch TV in bed without disturbing the wife. Sound quality is fine for that. The one issue I have is that the power on and volume controls are difficult to find/use. The power button in very small and the volume wheel is recessed to far into the headphone.

I got a pair of Sony headphones as a gift several years ago and wanted a second pair for another room in my house. I chose Sony again and haven’t been disappointed. Good sound quality. Great purchase for the value.

These headphones are the best sounding and extremely comfortable.

Great sound, I install these for my mom, if it’s not simple she won’t use it, but this set up is straight forward. Lift and enjoy you audio ,automatically connects. No need to change any settings. Moms happy

My husband is deaf, and he could hear so much better and not have the TV on so loud

These headphones work great. This helps me out when I'm watching TV in my room and my wife is asleep. The TV is on and I'm listening to what I'm watching through the earphones.

Good sound but sometimes the clarity could be more consistent.

These headphones are great for late night TV! While everyone in the house is sleeping I can hear whatever I'm watching and control the volume. Not comfortable if trying to lay down but great while sitting up!

A little confusing to hookup with tv But has a good sound

Finally able to watch tv without having to blast the sound to be able to hear it. My wife appreciates it too because she is in another room watching her shows and was always asking me to turn down the volume.

Our choice was headphones or a soundbar. No contest. Now I can watch and listen to something while my husban'd's sleeping. Yay! The headphones are comfortable and their sound is much better than the TV's speakers.

Bought a pair for myself around a year ago loved them great sound so this year I bought my dad a pair, maybe more for my mom,dad like the TV very loud. They both love them.

Purchased this Headphone set on 5/23/20 at my local BB store. I needed to be able to listen my TV in Master Bedroom without being told to turn it down. I chose these based on the Sony Reputation. It was very simple to install to my Cox Contour Box using the supplied RCA jacks and without any setting adjustments. The negative part is the sound quality, not very good. A background noise that is almost always there when watching a movie, but not while watching normal TV. I I tried to fix the problem by purchasing a converter which would allow me to connect to the Digital Audio Optical jack on the Contour box. However, even though it worked, the background noise was still there. The BB rep said to return the Sony and exchange for the Insignia.( which has more hookup options). However, even though it had only been about 3 weeks, the time allowed to return had expired. So I guess my only option is to either live with it, are suck it up and purchase the Insignia.
