this is not a bad head set but sony made a better one before this model, these do the job for someone who can't hear the TV very well. Its just the ear cup was redesigned and this one is just ok, the later model cupped your ears better. however, sound & performance is great

Our choice was headphones or a soundbar. No contest. Now I can watch and listen to something while my husban'd's sleeping. Yay! The headphones are comfortable and their sound is much better than the TV's speakers.

I needed a simple set of headphones because I am heard of hearing. these are perfect and work very well.

I bought these to use to watch TV in bed without disturbing the wife. Sound quality is fine for that. The one issue I have is that the power on and volume controls are difficult to find/use. The power button in very small and the volume wheel is recessed to far into the headphone.

What a fantastic purchase! These headphones work like a charm, allow me to move around the house and still hear the TV, no worries about cord length.

I purchased these headphones so I could control my own volume while watching TV with others. They work perfectly and allow me to hear with great clarity at lower volumes than before.

A little confusing to hookup with tv But has a good sound

These headphones work great. This helps me out when I'm watching TV in my room and my wife is asleep. The TV is on and I'm listening to what I'm watching through the earphones.

I'm listening to a ballgame wearing them as I post this. They're absolutely great. Really enhances the audio experience!! I really recommend these headphones.

We had to buy a new optical cable and an optical converter box to get these to work with our newer LG TV. Once we hooked them up there was nothing but horrible static. We unhooked everything and hooked the headphones to an older TV that had an Audio output connection. Once we hooked them up to the old TV, they sounded awesome. Headed back to Best Buy tomorrow to buy the Insignia brand that has a direct optical hookup on it. We will still need to use the optical cable that we already bought. People should be warned about needing these extra things. Fingers crossed that the Insignia with the direct optical cable connection works for us.

Had to plug in several times to reconnect. Would not start up after using it.

Great Product. I Am Hard Of Hearing. I Can Listen To My TV Without Bothering My Wife Because It's To Loud.

Now one of use can watch TV with bothering the other. That's good news.
