It does the basic things required, but both the quality of sound and the functionality compare poorly to my previous headphones. First, the volume is controlled by a small dual that requires removing the phones to see and adjust. Then, if your volume still needs adjusting, go back to step 1. My prior phones had large, easy to feel/find push up and down volume without removing the phones. Similarly, the on/off slide is difficult to find. The sound is clear and ok, but I no longer hear the stereo background sounds in the program/movie that added a lot to my experience. I would not recommend this product.

This solved the problem of more than one on at a time causing battles of the volumes. Only draw back is, and I may be wrong, only one set per transmitter. It would be nice if two or more sets could be linked together.
