The noise canceling is not soul-grippingly perfect, and the Sony headphones app is irritating at best. Like I've never seen a worse UI but whatever. The headphones do come in a sturdy little case and I like the fact that you can hover your hand over the earpiece for ambient sound. Also these headphones advertise 360 audio, but to set that up you need to send PICTURES of your ear. Is that a kink of some kind? Asking genuinely. Peace and love.

The noise canceling function is effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the headphones is up-to-date (via the Sony Headphones Connect app). You may also find this link helpful:

We're sorry that the unit had to be returned. Your feedback is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. For comfort, we recommend to try adjusting the headband and the earpads properly. It's worth noting that the headphones come with a nice carrying case for easy traveling and fold somewhat flat. The earcups also swivel inward so they pack up neatly in their compact case.
By downloading the Sony Headphones Connect app, you can also make few adjustments to your headphones settings to suit your needs. This will give you more control over your headphones and their performance.
