The battery on these headphones lasts forever, the bass is great and adjustable, and they're comfortable to wear! If you're looking for a slightly more affordable option for headphones these are a strong contender.

Comfortable fitting especially when I'm wearing glasses. The noise cancelling system is phenomenal, the sound clarity is exceptional and the price point is perfect.

First thing I have to point out is that the noise cancelling on the WH-XB910N is near perfect! I couldn't even hear my dog barking in front of me with active cancellation turned on. So if the goal is silence, these are great at it. Pairing was a breeze and with the Sony App. One thing I appreciate about Sony's app is that you don't have to sign in and it has its own equalizer. Some hp's require you to use your OS's EQ, which is a terrible idea since I have so many different devices I pair with with different sound profiles. The sound on the WH-XB910N is terrific. I usually prefer open back hp's, but that would defeat the purpose of sound isolation. The sound stage is pretty wide for a closed back set and the bass is deep without distorting vocals and other sounds. The foam seems to have some breathablity since one of my biggest gripes about closed back hp's are the heat. Sony did a great job with the WH-XB910N to keep heat retention low. The WH-XB910N are a great set of headphones for sound isolation and music. Getting the for either purpose wouldn't leave you wanting for more.

Not good for phone conversations /////////////////

They were great until last night, not even a full year and the headphones either no longer pair with any device or shut off immediately after pairing. Have reset the headphones/unpaired and paired devices over multiple times/made sure software was up to date and still nothing. What a joke for a $250 priced headphone

Right headphone provide "White noise". Complicated phone management, need application. Need update no clue how to install it. Old days noise cancelling phone for $250 was better.

I've had this for 2 years now. The noise cancelling is great. You can make phone calls, change volume, skip music, and even access google assistant just by touching the headset. It provides great bass as well. I will definitely buy again if I had to.

I have always loved Sony headphones in terms of sound quality and features. This product is great for people who can't afford or don't want to pay for the higher price for the 1000XM4. This is also good for people who like more bass in their music but you can lower it with an equalizer in the sony app. thankfully this improves over the XB900 with a carrying case instead of a pouch and also multipoint connection so you can have it connected to your phone and laptop or etc. Inside the box you get the headphones in the case along with a USB type A to USB type C cable for charging and a 3.5mm headphone cable. The headphones are made out of plastic but for $100 cheaper then the 1000XM4 i will accept it. It includes 30 hours of battery life with ANC on which is good. As far as sound goes it is more boomy then the 1000XM4 out of the box but it sounds great. You can still hear the mids and highs as well.

Will not always connect with TV. This should be a simple procedure, but with these headphones it is hit or miss. I also find them far less comfortable that other headphones I have used.

The noise cancelling and ambient sound are definitely the best part about this headset. After a week they kind of glitched and I heard a terrible static sound to the point where I couldn't use those two settings. This is semi-common with sony headphones though. Mine ended up fixing myself and I love using them when walking around my university. They are kind of clunky and big so they might not be the most stylish headphones ever, but that does not really matter to me. The bass settings are fantastic, and is a perk I didn't know I would use so much.

They were great for a couple of weeks. But now when noice canceling is on there is a constant humming! The humming is at a frequency that causes my head to feel like it’s going to explode!

Overall the headphones work great! I did a long time researching what I wanted and it came down to these and skull candy because of price. And for the price you get so much more and when you add the app for the headphones.. it's super nice and just makes these headphones so much more worth it! Please if you are on a budget( wait for sell) and want something good. Get these!!!

These headphones are amazing!!! I’ve been looking for a decent pair of headphones for a long time. The biggest issue I have when looking for good headphones is comfort but these are incredibly comfy. There’s a lot of features on the app that I’m still learning but it’s super cool and the sound is so customizable. Would def recommend, especially if it’s on saleeee

Sound quality is horrendous. Unsure of whether or not I purchased a defective pair but the "extra bass" is non-existent. On max volume, it seems as if they are only turned halfway up. Will be returning ASAP.

I have many pair of wireless headphones, probably about three that are made by Sony. A few years ago I was far from impressed with their headphones and earbuds, and they have definitely had some misses along the way, but all that has been changing for the better over the past several years. These are so far, my favorites not only among the Sony brand but of pretty much all the ones I currently have. What makes this pair different? It comes down to two things for me. The sound and the comfort. Nobody is going to wear headphones for very long if they're uncomfortable or if they just don't sound good to them. Let's face it, headphones, speakers and earbuds are very subjective. They will sound and feel different to every person who listens to them. My personal experience with these has been very positive. They come in a nice zippered hard case with the Sony logo on it. The headphones themselves are black and have a nice modern look to them. They're quite lightweight and they sit very comfortably on my ears. These are noise canceling, so they go completely over each ear. If you're going to buy comfortable headphones, this is a must. I don't care what some people say, the ones that are smaller and sit on top of your ears (you know the ones) will just not sound good in all situations, nor will those types stay in place for very long. These are very comfortable, and I have no problem wearing them for more than an hour at a time. The ear cup pads are soft and pliable, and have a good amount of padding, which also help to make them pretty sound proof. The top band wasn't forgotten when they were handing out the padding either. This has the same soft pliable material on it which complements the fit very well. I've had other brands that skimp on the top padding and they would always give me a headache after a short while. These just feel good. I always listen to music several different ways when checking out headphones. Both methods use my phone, but the first way just plays MP3 files from my Android phones' storage. The second way allows me to stream my .flac music files from my network hard drive. It's always good to try out several different players, and this allows me to do that. No matter what type of music I played, these phones sounded great. The bass sounded deep and full with really good sound pressure levels that make your ears “feel” the music (as they should). The midrange was clear and present without getting lost in the bass. Highs are audible and cut through nicely without being shrill or annoying. I listen to a wide variety of music but I enjoy it all... well, loud. Depending on the app you use to listen to music, your results in volume will vary (mine did anyway). I found that I would have liked just a little more volume at the top. This depends on the recording and the player you're using a great deal, and it's really not too bad, just something I noticed. Playing at full volume does allow the bass end to get a little muddied, but not to any great degree and it can be compensated for by using the app EQ. As far as the noise canceling is concerned I don't for the most part, like to use this type of feature. I don't have much of a need for it. You have your choice of Ambient sound and Noise Canceling. I was able to confirm the Noise Canceling setting does work adequately and I'm happy to say there was really no audible change in the sound of the music you hear, just how much external sound comes through. The controls are surprisingly easy and I loved the way the right ear cup is used as a touchpad. Swipe up or down to raise and lower the volume, swipe forward or back to go to the next or last song, and double tap the center to pause/play or answer the phone. Simple, and intuitive. There's only two buttons total. A round one for power and Bluetooth connection, and an elongated one for noise canceling and ambient. There's also a USB-C port for charging, and 1/8” jack for a stereo cable. Both of these cables are included by the way, just in case you don't have them. They even have a place to store them in the case. There is a free app included for either Android or Apple. It gives you the ability to update the firmware (which my headphones were able to do right after opening the app). It shows the battery percentage of the headphones and offers some transport controls and gives you the ability to change the adaptive sound settings. It also gives you links to the manual, tutorials, an equilizer and the ability to connect to two devices at once. I'm generally not a huge fan of stand alone apps like this because it's just another thing to have to open and use. But for the most part, you don't need it unless you want to update the firmware, so it's not completely ancillary. WHAT I LIKED: - The sound was well balanced and had good clean low end. - The fit and comfort were excellent. - The touchpad controls were easy and very intuitive. WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: - Bass was a little muddied at high volume, but I would guess most people won't really mind because it's not extreme (snd most people probably don't play at full volume). Very well thought out design overall. Nice job Sony.

I've only had these pair of headphones for a month or so, but the quality, sound canceling, and battery life are great. One small issue is that about once or twice every 4 hours in use, it will just disconnect from my phone. Also trying to pair it with my computer has been a bit inconvenient. Since I've only had this for a month, I cannot speak about its durability
