It's meh.

I would just use them at home on my phone or college and over time the volume part of the ear buds stopped responding and one side of the earbuds got progressively weaker than the other.

Good seal to silence outside distractions but they are not noise cancellation. Drap over the shoulder with weak magnets in earbuds to help keep them in place but really not very effective, plus mic is not kept in front of torso so conversations are not as loud as it should be. I hang mine in the front and mic works great then.
