Unacceptable sound quality for $50

My Skullcandies that I bought for $25 or so were much better in terms of sound quality. I'm really disappointed. It shouldn't be priced at $50. It seems like all the money went into making materials feel good but they just forgot to make these headphones sound good. I'm not sure why these headphones are so overhyped.
