Work great as workout headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use these for weight lifting and they work pretty well. I dont have a problem with them falling out of my ears during more movement intensive exercises. Sound quality is pretty good especially considering the price. Easy to pair with NFC capabilities and has a decent amount of low end sound along with clear mids and high's.

Works but not durable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It only has one button, so if you want to control through the headphones, you have to memorize the Sony Morse code. Good sound isolation, enough to drown out all the sounds in the weight room. A lot of the weight is hovering outside your ear, so it's a little awkward at first, but you get used to after a workout or two. Downfall is mine stopped working (left ear went dead) just under a 2 months. Liked them enough that I exchanged it and am giving them a 2nd chance. This time around I'll see if being more conscious about not tugging on one end will keep them working for longer.

Didn't Fit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have very small ears and the cartilage in my left ear sticks out a little farther than my right. Using the smallest pieces available, the right side will stay in, but my ear hurts after I take them out. I have tried all of the combinations I can think of on the left side but nothing works, and they are too heavy to wear without the rubber piece. Overall the sound quality is good and connecting them to my phone was easy, I just can't keep the left one in my ear. Bottom line: do not buy these unless your ears are absolutely average in size and shape.

Get What You Pay For
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these, used them for a week and returned them. I was still left wanting. On "sale" for $49.99, which is a bit misleading. Sony's MSRP is $99.99, but I've rarely seen these actually at that price, here or anywhere #Amazon.com, etc.#. These are basically "OK" Bluetooth earbuds and what you'd expect for a $50 pair, which is not comparable to $100 sets #i.e. Monster Adidas Sport Adistar#. Sound: Average. Soundstage feels "compressed". Bass-forward emphasis, however, sound is not completely clean and sounds a bit "hazy". Fit: Good fit. Didn't have any issues with them falling out. Comfortable for extended periods of time. Bluetooth: Good range. No hiccups with routine movements and distance from the source. Mic: Average mic. While I was heard on the other end, I was informed by several people at different times that I sounded a tad faint. Overall, a $50 Bluetooth in-ear set for $50. Do NOT expect the quality of a $100 set for $50. Sony is marketing these to give the consumer the perception of value, when in reality, they're getting exactly what they're paying for. I would recommend these as a budget pick for those who are active and want something that sounds decent, but don't want to fork out $100 or more. If you want everything and price is no object, I recommend the Monster Adidas Sport Adistar, which I rate over the Jaybird X2s #I returned my X2s for the Monsters and am 100% glad I did#.

Perfect fit earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Perfect sound/price is awesome/poor connectivity to Apple watch but easily fixed by switching orientation of hands. Overall very pleased. And I have owned all types of Bluetooth from Jabra to Jaybirds and by far the Sony buds are the best.

Quality sound, but the bluetooth isn't perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headphones are great for certain activities, but pretty bad for others. The sound is comparable to other mid- to high-end wired phones I have owned. They are light and comfortable. Very secure fit in the ears for all kinds of activities. My only complaint is the Bluetooth. It works great if you don't move, but that defeats the purpose of the headphones. I wear them for running and they are okay most of the time, but if I look behind me, the music skips. If I'm holding my phone in my hand and drop my hand to my side or stretch it above my head, the music skips. If you wear your phone on an armband, it might work better. When I walk, it gets 100 times worse. The bigger swing of my arms when I walk causes the connection to go nuts. Basically, these headphones work great in any situation where your music source and the headphones are sitting still, or moving together. As soon as you move one of them in a different direction, you will experience skips.

Excellent headphones for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only been using them for one day and I am impressed. Have owned countless sets (including really high end), Vmoda, Bose, Senheiser and i'm too smart to waste money on Beats. My most recent pair was a Jabra high end set which cost twice the price and were horrible. I'm almost glad that I lost them and replaced them with these. Good bass, crispy clear highs (I had to back down the highs with the EQ). They are comfortable for my big head. They seem a bit flimsy build wise and not sure how durable they are, I wish the controls were on the wire and not the headpiece that is why I dropped 1 star off the 5. So far the only set that I would pin against this set is V-Moda. I may buy another set for my wife.

Loving for gym exercise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worried a lot about a large purchase price for earbuds, and scoured reviews for days. Finally landed on these without remorse. They hold a charge well enough and recharge easily. I use only for gym/exercising, since cords got frustrating for me. Must mix n match ear hook sizes with bud sizes to match your ears for best sound isolation. 3 of each were included.

Great sound, handy for working out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.these have great sound, but sometimes when syncing with a new device it takes me a few tries before it really works. A little frustrating so I'm glad I don't switch out devices that often.

Great Earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went through 9 or 10 other brands of Blue Tooth headphones to use at the gym. I didn't expect to like these due to them looking so bulky. The minute i tried them on I was surprised. They were comfortable. I like the length of the cable, I like the fact that there's no plastic hanging on my neck while i'm sweating, Decent noise isolation and BT mic for my phone, I like how they sound (Great). I love the comfort and the fact that they don't fall out. i don't like that they "Look" bulky (but they don't feel bulky). I'm not sure about the multi touch button. I think i'm liking it. One button,,, I don't have to think about which one i'm touching,, always know exactly what i'm doing,,, just had to learn the code. Hmmm,, Over all I love everything about them except how they look. That wasn't reason enough to return them. should be a 4.9 rating

Sound quality is good enough
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wear this for jogging and going out. I tried 3 different Philips bluetooth earbuds before I got this one. The sound quality is way better than Philips, especially stereo surround sound. It's very comfortable to wear. It comes with 4 sizes of earbuds and 3 arc supporters so you could find the size that fits you. It's bit tricky to adjust the volume on the eardbud but not big issue. I bought another two for my niece and nephew.

Great at first
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We looked at lots of earbuds before I finally settled on these. Had for close to 6 months. Sound quality was great and fit and stayed in ear find while working out, but now will not charge. Just seems that Bluetooth earbuds don't hold up over time.

Not what I was told
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a nice pair of wireless headphones that had good clarity and solid bass. Well, this pair has ok clarity but the bass sucks. I will be returning these and going to a better pair of wired headphones that have the quality that I am looking for. If you want a cheap pair of beginning headphones then these will work. If your looking for quality avoid these.

Sony fan here, they're pretty darn good.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, so I purchased these headphones when I left my other BT headset at work over the weekend and needed a quick replacement. I went to my local Best Buy and picked up these MDR's, onsale, for $50. I've been pleasently surprised in the audio quality and once you get the hang of them they're pretty darn good. Nice and valuable earphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The step sound mentioned by the other reviewer isn't as serious as description. I guess that the major reason why those people get disturbing step sound is because they didn't choose the right size of earbuds. The original pair are medium, which may be bigger for many people's ears. The sound insulation is good. The transmission sometimes is interrupted when I used my cellphone to stream music. They are light.

Honestly terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought these 5/18/2016 because I had a sony pair of black sport earphones(the $19.99) pair and I was pretty sure the sound quality was going out. I gave these a try cause I noticed they were meant for sport. I honestly dislike them in almost everyway. They aren't super easy to get in my ear, silicone earbuds get annoying, and on full volume with the Bluetooth part, was so terrible. For $107 with tax, they aren't worth for running. They have no sound quality. Pros: No cord that could swing around your arm -Wireless -Stay relatively in your ear Cons: Terrible quality for $99.99 -Finicky to get in my ear -Not loud at all to actually hear the music well -Doesn't seem worth the money -Have to recharge it

Returned....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apparently i have big eardrums. I could not obtain a tight fit necessary for running. I had choppy connection on a samsung galaxy s5 active when phone is in an armband. The sound is phenomenonal but the design seems clunky probably due to the fit issues. Also i previously owned yurbuds which have capacity for bigger fits. The multi button worked as intended on android. I went back to the yurbuds. Miss the audio quality but do not like the design of these buds. The buds have a large rectangular casing and you need the right earbud size for active use. If not, they will not make you happy. IMO these buds miss the mark because if you cannot find the right fit, they will cause problems when active

Nice Headphone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried several other headphones that were the same price or more, including Jaybird. Then I found these. I have had them for over a month. I quickly found the right size clips for my ears. It paired easily with my Samsung Galaxy and has stayed paired. The bass is excellent. The lack of bass was the main problem I had with the others that I tried. The battery life is very good. I mainly use these when I am using the elliptical at the gym, and they have never fallen out of my ears or become loose. I am used to the one button and actually find it easier to use than multiple ones. I had to get used to where it was because sometimes I would reach up to adjust them and accidentally pause the music. I got the orange ones because they were $50 cheaper than the black ones, and I'm glad I did. It is much easier t find the orange in my gym bag. Some have mentioned the size of these, but I don't find them too big at all and the size actually makes it easier to adjust them (as long as you don't pause the music). I recommend these and would buy them again.
