Discovered that a single base transmits the signal to more than one headphone. So ended up buying two sets. Only connected one base to the audio RCA jacks. Use the second one just as a charger. Minimal hissing sound occasionally that clears up in seconds thus the 4 stars instead of 5.

I have wired headphones that sound just as good and they were a fraction of the cost of the Sony's. Like all wireless products stray signal interference is also an issue but not a deal breaker in this case. Overall good headphones but overpriced.

I love the wireless feature as I use them to watch TV when others are in the room or area of the TV. The sound quality is very good but they do not cancel out sound, like my previous ones did. Comparable products use blue tooth and TVs do not come with blue tooth.
