Posted .Hi snyd, thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're sorry for late reply and about this issue that you're having with your unit. We would like to recommend you to perform the steps below in response to your concern regarding signal interference:
- Use the headphones near the transmitter, or change the position of the transmitter.
- Do not place the transmitter on a metallic table.
- If you connect the transmitter to an A/V component using the headphone jack, lower the volume level on the connected A/V component within the range where the sound is not distorted.
- Change the radio frequency with the CHANNEL selector switch on the transmitter, then set to the same radio frequency with the AUTO TUNING button on the right housing of the headphones.

Will not plug into a Smart TV even with adapters

She is hard of hearing so in Jan bought the Sony headphones which a salesperson recommended. No one in store could help when could not hook up. I bought adapters on-line, everything plugs in but no sound, will not work. I guess I really am complaining about hookups in Smart TVs. But am returning the headphones for full refund.

Keep in mind that depending on the type of television it is required to go through the menu and turn off the internal speakers after making the connections through the available audio out port if no sound is heard.~Jeannette
Great sound headphones

They charged up like they were supposed to, but that's it. I live in heavily forested hills where radio reception is not that good, so I suspect that may be the problem, or at least part of the problem.
