Could be used while another person could still hea
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the salesman told me that I could control the sound with the headset, this has not been true. When I returned to BestBuy, geeksquad confirmed that these headsets will NOT allow sound to come through both the TV and the headset. I returned it

Product does not work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product because my original one was stolen during a burglary at my house. The original one worked fine, if not for a little static which is to be expected. This one however, worked for all of two minutes and I have not been able to make it work since I purchased it 3 weeks ago. Heading back to Best Buy tomorrow to return it for a refund. I'll have to wait for a true Bluetooth solution to make this work with my tv.

Did not work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plugged in but could not get it to work. Called geek squad who said try it on my computer. Did not work. Returned for another brand that was much cheaper that worked perfectly. Too bulky, too large.

Good set of headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the quality of the headphones. They work well and are easy to use but they are somewhat heavy. Need to remove them for a few minutes every 45 minutes or so to relieve pressure on the ears.

I don't recommend these
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you love plugging them in and out of your tv audio jack every time you want to use them then they are for you, otherwise that is a big headach. They are heavy also.

Promising and priced right...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.but cannot cope with any interference. Save yourself some money and time and check out units in the 2.4ghz bands, they are a bit more expensive but overall sound much better.

Not what expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ear pads are quite small and rest on your ears, not over so they caused me pain to use. There is no auxiliary outlet so that you can plug directly into the headset. I will be giving these to my daughter.

Purchased OPEN BOX
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased "open box" headphones. Was told all of the parts were included....also had a sticker on the box that said ALL parts were included. Gave it to my dad, who is in his 80's.... **NO ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS in the box He paid a guy to hook up the headphones since there were no English instructions.... **Electronics guy could NOT connect the headphones stand to the TV because the SPLITTER was missing from the box too! SO IRRITATING! So... I don't know if the headphones are good or not BUT DON'T BUY "OPEN BOX" products unless you check the contents!!

I can sleep!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a pair of wireless headphones for my boyfriend for the bedroom so he could play video games and watch tv while i sleep without bothering me and waking me up in the middle of the night. Sound is great and range is great. I can now sleep while he is up all night. Only thing we didn't like about this set is the way it is set up with the transmitter. We ran into an issue but finally solved it after a bit. Our issue: The transmitter was first hooked into the AV jack in the back of our TV while using the XBOX One console. When he decided to remove the XBOX One and use his Xbox 360, the set no longer worked. We concluded that with the XBOX One, the transmitter must be hooked into the TV's AV jack. BUT - with the XBOX 360, the transmitter must be plugged DIRECTLY into the CONSOLE. Thought it was defective at first, then thought it must be something wrong with our TV's AV jack. but figured all this out after about giving up a couple times. The set is a little finicky is all - just make sure you try every combination of plugs and jacks so you know what the transmitter works with.

Horrible On All Levels
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Headphones quit working 2 months after I got them! Took them back to the store to replace (most stores have a 90 Day Return Policy) but it seems Best Buy to save money has limited it to 15 Days!!!! Then they refer you to the Product Manufacturer which does not comprehend English and wants you to pay for shipping back! Why Buy From Best Buy AT ALL! This has taken up over 4 hours of my time, gas, and calls only to leave the Headphones at the Store I purchased them from with a very rude and inconsiderate Asst Manager which could care less!

Unacceptable interference
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried using these for TV listening in an apartment so as not to disturb the neighbors at night with the TV up too loud. Although they were easy to use and the sound quality seemed good, something in the apartment was causing terrible RF interference with these headphones. No matter how I hooked it up or where I plugged it in, I could not get rid of the noise. Returned these and bought the Insignia 2.4 GHz model instead and now no interference.

Good Way to Listen in the Morning
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones so I can listen to TV while others are sleeping. They work for that if I can just get my little daughter to stay in bed instead of coming down to snuggle with me. They sound really good but not any special audiophile amazingness. Hookup to my system required a purchase of a 1/8" to 1/4" converter plug. When they are plugged in it mutes my system for all other listeners. They are pretty bulky but I haven't tried any others for comparison. The weight doesn't bother me but it is difficult to lay down while watching TV. I guess that is the price to pay for over-ear headphones. Charging is easy and straightforward. I can't really attest to battery life but I haven't had any issues. I don't watch very much TV at all. People in other reviews talked about them having too much clamping force...those people must have enormous heads. I wish they clamped a bit tighter but they are okay as is. Best Buy matched an online retailer so I got them for $88+tax in store. For the price I think these were my best bet.

Great product!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My boyfriend bought these so he could watch tv while I slept and it has been the best gift! I listen to my sound machine and fall asleep while he watches his favorite shows. I use the headphones myself at times and the sound quality is great, even better than my tv audio. The headphones are cushy and comfortable and you can charge them easily so you don't go through a ton of batteries. I just bought a pair for my parents who have the same issue as one stays up later than the other. It's made such a difference for us I'm tempted to give them the gift even before Christmas!

need adapter to share input with other devices
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi, We have not been able to use this headset until we find..(if they make one) an adpater to share the input outlets on back of TV which shares dvd, cable and on the back.

Posted .Hi vonnie, it is to our regret to inform you that Sony does not manufacture the adapters that you are referring to. If there are no slots available for the headphones, the 3.5mm audio jack (if supported) of your TV will work. Best regards, -Mark
