I could never get rid of interference no matter what TV I tried or where in the house. It was easy to get the sound but so much clicking and annoying interference with the sound. I tried everything I could think of to eliminate it using the provided instructions and Sony Support. No luck. I returned them. I expected better results. Oh well. Order with caution.

Sitting 8 feet away from the base and nothing but static. Tried to tune in to the different channels on the base but none worked. Each channel needed to be tuned but it would never clear the static. I returned them to the store. I bought these with reward points from my best buy credit card and never got back the points. Very dissatisfied with the purchase and the service.

I couldn't get them to work so I asked a couple other people to try in case I was doing something wrong. All I hear is static so I tried to return them to best buy. I was told I was 1 day late to return them. I asked for a store credit I was denied. Now I have a headset that amplifies static for $100 and no sound. I don't like to return purchases that's why I tried every avenue before trying to return them.

Used this set for my TV. The sound comes out of one side only if the input is mono. Input will always be mono if you have to use RC jacks as such is the case with my TV. You will need a headphone preamp to correct this.

Also, a green light tells you, supposedly, the "system" is ready--but it goes out for no reason and then you have to unplug everything to make it green again. Terrible product.
