The headphones kept breaking up and getting static spots. It didn't matter where I put the transmitter, it kept happening. I took them back and got the Insignia head phones, and they work great.

Worst product I ever bought. I had to return it right away, but was surprised Sony would sell something so terrible. I used to think Sony was the best brand and that all Sony products were top-notch. Now, I'm not so sure.

Returned these headphones - everyone in the room could hear the volume - thus defeating the purpose of them. Besides for that the quality of sound was not good.

Installed unit in TV and phones - audio comes thru but problem with reverberations. Plan to talk in person with one of your people to seek a solution.

After charging the headphones the set up took about one minute. Sound quality is very good, including stereo. Range is good as long as you stay within direct view of the base, walking into the next room often leads to static. I do not like headphones as a rule. Having things over my ears feels unpleasant to me. That being said, they are comfortable and the volume setting / on and off switches are easy to use. I use these headphones to watch TV when my wife has fallen asleep and I do not want to disturb her, and for this they work great.

For what they are, they work great. No interference issues really. Sometimes it will breakup and if it does, just turn it off and back on again. I had to do this once or twice. Also has pretty good range. I have no problems getting up and going into the kitchen during a commerical break. And the kitchen is on the other side of the house. Easy enough to install, I just hooked it up with the 3.5mm jack to the TV out and let it charge up. Turn it on and slipped them on and it work like a charm. It should not be a problem for anybody that's not tech savy. These are pricy for what they are. Not really made for the long haul either, kind of on the flimsy side.But then again, I have never owned any other wireless headphones. The sound is ok and the volume is good. I can hear now without rattling the neighbors windows being I am half deaf these days. AND they can get hot to wear, not looking forward to the summer nights. The stereo features are lacking, but work. And they seem to slide around on my head, but I am sure I am not using them as intended. Just throwing that out there because I doubt I am the only one using them to watch TV in bed. I can now watch TV without bugging the wife....... I can now understand what is said on the TV........ And I am pleased as punch...................................

Pros: Reasonable price for very good sound. When within range. Static shouldn't interfer with your listening as long as you are stationary. Build quality is excellent if not over done. Cons: Heavy. The specs call it 11.3 ounces, your head will call it 3 lbs 11 ounces. Forget any real excersize while wearing these, they are too heavy to stay put unless you are staying put. Ear cups surround the ear and are perfect winter wear. But if you keep your house at 70 your ears will be hot in minutes.

They were bought to aid her hearing the TV. They were very uncomfortable to were and she gaqve up trying to use them.

Does not work at all. I am returning these expensive headphones as soon as I finish my school semester. Useless article for $100!

I am not sitting 15' ftom the receiver and in cuts in and out frequently. It is suppose to be better than that.

Headphones were terrible. They only worked for 5 minutes each night and would short out and no sound could be heard at all.

This was a open box sale item. It did not function when I connected it to my system, so it was returned.

Just static and screeching noises worst ever I returned them and bought the 175s which are awesome

I was only 10 feet in direct view but it would get fuzzy when I moved my head left or right. Not for me.

I bought these about 4 months ago, for my girlfriend, to watch tv. I can now watch my tv without having to hear hers. She has a hard time hearing the tv, so she turns it up rather loud. These are prefect for her. She likes them and uses them all the time. She likes that she can walk around the house and even outside and still hear the shows. There is no static and the sounds is clear. I guess they could get uncomfortable if you wear them for seveal hours.

In part, I purchased these headphones because of the many positive reviews on this site. While I don't doubt that the other reviewers were quite satisfied, I was not. These are fairly substantial headphone and I found them to be comfortable. Set-up was quite easy. The down-side, for me, was the significant amount of static that I could hear. Changing settings did not resolve the problem. My guess is that the static was environmental. While I would not recommend this product you might find it worth a try. I tried the headphones and returned them

I purchased this because I work till midnight and want to watch tv without disturbing my wife at that hour.
