Just what the doctor ordered
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just received the headset yesterday. I did a complete charge before I set the headset up. Very easy to setup. Once I turned on the TV and also the headset I had audio to both ears. The volume control is on the left ear pad and a little hard to use if you have large fingers like me. But once I found the sweet spot I figured I would leave the volume there. The on and off switch is on the other ear. Again a little hard to get at. The reason I bought this headset was because I am a little hard of hearing and I had the volume on the TV turned up to the point that my wife wanted to walk out of the room because it was to high for her. Now she can have the TV volume where she wants it and I can have the headset volume where I want it. When the wife is happy everyone one else is happy, right? The only thing I am not sure of is the distant the signal well allow. Right now I am 15-18 feet from the transmitter, with out any static.

Not a good buy..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a set of Logitech G930's. They are starting to cut out randomly so I was looking for a better alternative to use. Got home and hooked it up. Right away I noticed that they had less weight than my 930's... not such a big deal, but started thinking they were cheaply made. Set up is incredibly easy and fast. I got some music going as loud as I could. Sound falls flat at max volume. It also deadens your crisp sounds when this happens. I also had a hiss that would not go away in the right ear. Not only that, but the ear cups DO NOT seal around the ear. There are some random gaps on the face that let background noise. You can hear yourself talking at normal levels with no problem. I don' know about other people, but most, including myself, buy over the ear headphones to get rid of background noise. Do yourself a favor... don't even bother.

Great for privacy and hearing impaired
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these wireless headphones so that I could hear my television audio better from across the room. I have hearing loss due to at birth nerve damage which makes hearing tv shows difficult plus family members appreciate that the tv volumn does not have to set higher in order for me to hear. I often mute the tv volumn and use the headphones exclusively for privacy.

Comfortable headset, but static is a problem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ear phones are very comfortable, with the volume control easy to adjust while wearing the product. I use it for TV viewing and for my stereo sound system. The product produces very good sound quality but occasionally there is a problem with the wi fi transmission. Even from 10 to 15 away from the transmission antenna, I receive annoying static at times. I have tried to re-position the antenna several times, but it does not seem to make a difference. There are no other electrical appliances running at the time within range of the headset.

These are great for my hearing problem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these because I was having trouble understanding a lot of the conversations on TV....volume was OK, but not the words. These work to alleviate that problem; I can understand what is being said. I can put off getting hearing aids for a while!

The product works as advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product works well but will have moments of interference due to other wireless devices causing sime issues but this is probably to be expected. In all it is a great productt for working around the house while the music is provided by a source far away from were you are working. The range is excellent but the price is high.

OK - Debating If I Should Return
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the headphones a week ago to avoid disturbing my apartment neighbors with my late-night TV watching. Easy set up and the item as a whole is a quality purchase, but I hear a faint buzzing noise in my ears when used. Not quite sure where it is coming from and am debating whether or not to return.

Posted .Hello ASC1977, Please try the following trouble shooting steps:
- Do not place the transmitter on a metallic table.
- If you connect the transmitter to an A/V component using the
headphone jack, lower the volume level on the connected A/V
component within the range where the sound is not distorted.
- Change the radio frequency with the CHANNEL selector switch
on the transmitter, then set to the same radio frequency with
the AUTO TUNING button on the right housing of the
headphones. Dave

Works as hoped...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This works great when one person doesn't want to hear TV at all and the other does, or when both people have different volume needs.

stops working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Sony wireless headphones after sending a less expensive pair back one week earlier. I watch tv late at night while my wife sleeps. I broke down and paid $110 for the Sony. Hookup was simple and they worked fine after the first night. The second night however, they just stopped. I heard an electronic squak and then no sound. I clicked on the different settings, fine tuned, full battery charge, nothing. They would come back on for a few minutes, then turn off again. This went on for three nights in a row. Finally, I got fed up. I will be returning them later today. I tried hooking them up directly to the audio out plug. They did not work, then I hooked them up to the rca cables on my tv.

Great Product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones work great at night when you're binge watching TV shows while the rest of the house is sleeping. The only problem I have is that it has static from time to time and the headphones mute themselves occasionally.

Go with something else
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just picked these up today. Got them out of the box, they looked nice, and seemed well made, but once I put them on and started to move with them they would not stay in place. As an example, I wanted to bend over slightly plug something into the wall outlet and they shifted forward on my head. Very loose fit. And I have a big head. I am 6'1. Next I hooked them up with my cable box, the sound was clear but lacked dimension, bass, and depth. They sounded like a pair of 10 dollar cheep kids headphones. I thought maybe it was the source so I plugged the cable into my phone with beats audio thinking I would get a better experience. It was actually worse. The cheep cable that came with the headsets doesn't properly seat in a headphone jack so I got allot of interference/feedback. I also had static when walking from one side of the room to another. This is a small bedroom. I tried changing channels and hitting the auto tune button, same poor connection. I am taking them back to best buy tonight. I think they would be fine for someone only using them to watch TV, say, the news. But don't expect deep bass, high treble or anything special really when using to watch movies or listening to high quality audio.

nice product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is good and ambient surrounding noise is blocked fairly well. I use it for tv, movies and gaming. Only thing missing from this beauty is a Mic.

Terrible Reception
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wife & Daughter bought the Sony headset last May for my Birthday. Just now got around to get them to work by buying a 1/4" to 1/8" stereo jack adapter and plugging them into the headphone jack on the front of my Yamaha RX-V477 receiver. I placed headphone transmitter within 12' of where I set, in line of site. Static, hum, very poor reception. Tried to tune it. Tried changing channel on headset. If I turn my head any I loose reception. IMO DON"T WAIST YOUR MONEY.

Good for price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headphones are good for the price under $50. The biggest issue with these is on high volume everyone around you can hear what you are hearing so its not like a headphone but becomes a speaker..:)
