Bought in January 2017. Took two weeks and a few days to set up and they worked for 15 minutes and quit. Took back to Best Buy and they said to deal with Sony so I did. Sony replaced the bad headphones(problem was in the wireless box) with new. The new ones worked for about a week and did exactly the same thing as the first ones. However I found that if I pulled out the power in plug and reinserted they worked. Today I am watching football and every 5 minutes have gotten up and done the disconnect 10-20 times. Gonna send them back again tomorrow. Pathetic product.

I love the headset. my husband plays tv so loud and now he doesn't have to with the headset. he can have it on and I don't have to hear it.

I wasn't able to listen to them before buying them, that was my first drawback. When I got them home, the setup was easy. The reception is terrible ! I have a buzzing sound in them unless I am standing right next to the TV. I have tried everything, and nothing works. I am making sure they are charged to there fullest potential. If that doesn't work, I will be taking them back.

Purchased these wireless headphones for my 97 year old hard of hearing Mother. Now we can be in the same room as her while watching t.v. without be blasted out of the room.

I was excited for these headphones based on previous reviews, but sadly disappointed when I got them. On low volumes the fuzzy sound can be heard to an intolerable level, and when moving around the room with the TV in it, sometimes the buzz is to loud that you can't hear what's on the TV. At this price I was really expecting more. I am hoping to find a different set of headphones that work.

Lasted only 11 months. Called Sony and said it would have to be replaced, but I would have to pay the labor fee. Warranty was 90 days labor and 1 year parts. Labor fee was $88 plus shipping. I could buy a new set for that. What good is Sony's warranty? Best Buy told me over the phone they would swap them out evenly, but after driving 30 miles they said "no". Why can't companies stand behind the products they manufacture and sell?

The supplied plug into the source is a 1/8 inch mini, so check where you will be connecting. I needed a standard 1/4 inch jack into my home theater receiver, so back I go. Also, Sony cheaped out big time here--the connector cable is only three feet long, so there is a good chance many wil need an extension adapter cord as well. Too bad the helpful BB clerk was not aware of this point. Once I get the necessary part I'll see how good this thing is.

other than hitting the buttons on the headset and having to readjust these are great for older people

I get lots of static, that is depending on what angle your head is to the receiver. In the end I had to return it, this sub par for a sony product

I live in San Francisco where I have electric bus lines and Sutro tower blasting me with every radio frequency imaginable. As a result, the audio on the headphones was filled with pops and static like a detuned radio. It also severely limited the range of the broadcast so to get even a marginal signal I had to be less than 15 feet from my TV. The problem is that the broadcast from the base station is not digital. If you want to avoid these problems, pick up a wireless headphone set that broadcast in digital like I did. After I picked up a digital set, all audio and range problems went away.

This is a great gift for a hearing impaired individual.

What is happening? I liked Sony products before. Bad construction, I will not be surprised if they break soon. Bad fit to my normal head. Loudest sound is really not loud . Don't take them! I am greatly disappointed.

The headphones work as advertised, for TV. Unable to use in home studio. Hi end just not there, Muddy in the mids. The vol. at max is too low. Taking back tomorrow. Was hopeing to go wireless but dynamic range is effected on these. Yes, I tried all the channels.

If you're going to get wireless headphones for your home, do yourself a favor and just go straight to the headphones with a digital signal. I bought these because of their high rating - not sure what others are hearing. The sound on these is terrible. Tried all three channels, we have no phones or other electronics that would interfere with the signal, and there was a lot of hissing and popping. Also, I don't think I have an exceptionally small head, but the band wouldn't go any smaller. I wear a 7 1/4 fitted hat, so if your head is smaller these won't fit. Yes, digital headphones like the Sennheiser RS-170 (I returned the Sonys and bought the 170s) will run you about $100 more, but the sound quality can't be compared.

I've had these phones for over a year' when listening to them they off and I have to get up pull the power cord out and plug it back in .this happens at 4 to 6 times a night. I took one pair back that did the same thing.

I guess over all these were OK, but not for $110. I was upset the most that I only had sound from one side, but only through my Onkyo receiver. If I pluged it into the source it worked fine. So that could be the Onkyo fault. I pluged it into my computer and Blu-Ray player and it worked pretty good. The volume was pretty low for my taste. There was also a little background static but not bad. I adjusted the tuning setting on the head set to get better sound quality but the best was still getting a slight static. I could get cheap $20 ones that sound the same. so these are going back.

Worked great for 1/1/2 years Electric power plug to transmitter has failed (loose connection) and is now inoperable, rest of phone is apparently OK but unusable. Poor quality.

I wish I could take it back because there is lots of static but I already opened the product so I doubt that will be acceptable.
