No wires just power and a quick sync.. default settings have them a tad quiet but set the distance and levels properly and they do well

Great rear speakers for Sony system

All you do is mount them and plug them in. Each one requires its own power source. Mounting is easy just a screw in the wall to hang them. You turn on you system and they work. The Sony control lets you adjust the volume of the speakers and sub woofer with their controller. Really makes sports and movies much more fun and lively. Not theater quality but great for the family room.
