They appreciate the amazing sound quality and feel that adding these speakers to their soundbar enhances their entertainment experience. The easy setup process is also praised, making it convenient for users to get started. The wireless feature is another highlight, allowing for a clutter-free setup. However, some customers have concerns about the price, compatibility with certain devices, volume level, and the non-removable power cord.

Had to get another company to issue us credit to buy these speakers as best buy only gave us enough for our sony 900f tv and Sony htz9 soundbar. But the wait was was worth it. Everything sounds fantastic and looks fantastic. Just as in the movie theater. These speakers are a must with the sound bar.

I purchased these rear speakers with a Sony sounder and sub system. I love these rear speakers! Now that I have them positioned just right, I can hear the effects of surround perfectly. They are clear and easy to set up. I would buy them again.

These Sony Rear Speakers work great with the Sony Sound Bar. We bought them because we purchased a Sony OLED TV, followed by the Sony Sound Bar, and last the Sony Rear Speakers as we wanted a system that sounded great and worked harmoniously with the other components.

Paired these with the HTZ9F. IMO these are a requirement to make that sound bar sounds decent. As for the rear speaker themselves, they do a great job of filling out that system. There are almost no mids here due to the small tweeter but they do the job when it comes to filling out the HTZ9F. My honest opinion, skip the HTZ9F soundbar and these by proxy and spend the same amount on a better system with larger tweeters and more drivers.

These are the only speakers designed to work with the Sony soundbar, and they work as intended. They are truly plug-and-play; they detect/are detected by the bar and start working immediately.

They are made to be paired with the Sony HTZ9F soundbar, and all it took for me to set them up was to plug them in. Open Box unit in excellent condition. Saved me some money over buying new. They look and work like new. No complaints so far.

They put out great sound but Bluetooth doesn't mean cordless. Too short of a cord and it's black. Very conspicuous. I should have purchased a different item.

This is the best way to finish off a surround sound setup. Because of it being wireless, the setup is easy and wherever you want it to be. Definitely buy if you get the sony 3.1 sound bar.

These are great rear speakers that are added to Sony’s HTZ9F soundbar package. They complete the already great sounding soundbar system. Just know that they connect wirelessly to the soundbar but each speaker has its own power cord.

    Good Speakers, Poor Design

These are good speakers that I would consider to be almost an essential add-on to the HT-Z9F. They sound great and do add a lot of dimension to the HT-Z9F's sound. The fact that each speaker has its own very short AC power cord is pretty annoying though. To start off, these speakers are only compatible with Sony's HT-Z9F soundbar (at least as of this writing), so unless you have that then these would be an automatic no-go. The HT-Z9F soundbar is technically a 3.1 channel system, but Sony advertises it as being able to deliver a 7.1.2 experience with its Vertical Sound Engine. It sounds great on its own, but it still lacks some immersion and these speakers go a long way towards giving you the complete experience. Both rear speakers are wireless and both have to plug into a wall outlet. The cords coming out of each speaker are only about 6 feet long, which was pretty annoying for me since my original system had my rear satellites way up on my wall and not very close to an outlet. I was forced to buy a pretty long extension cord to make the setup work and hiding the larger cords was not as elegant. I haven't dealt with a ton of wireless rear speakers, but most of the ones I have seen run normal speaker cables to some kind of central connection box and that is what plugs into the wall and interfaces with the soundbar. I feel like that would have been a much more efficient way to design these speakers and it would make pairing them a little simpler too. That's my biggest gripe with these speakers. The rest of the experience with them was very good. Each speaker pairs individually and you do have to pair and use both at the same time (not sure why anyone would want to use just one anyway). The pairing process was fairly painless through the HT-Z9F's settings and the connection has been strong ever since. I did use the HT-Z9F by itself for a while before I figured out how to hook these up and I can tell you that these make a big difference to the overall sound. The rear speakers have great sound and the rear channels come through really well. They’re expensive for sure at about $300 for the pair, but if you’re investing in the HT-Z9F soundbar I would get these too, at least eventually.

Beautiful and realistic sound. This speaker works so good, on multiple occasions I have thought a background sound was coming from outside my house...like a dog barking or someone whistling. Definitely recommended.

These were a nice addition to complete the Sony surround system. Adds rear sound without having to run speaker wires. Just remember they do need an electrical outlet for power.

These speakers pair ONLY to the sound bar it says they go with. Just a heads up for anyone looking for wireless speakers. But if you have the sound bar they go with they pair instantly and automatically. The sound clarity is amazing. Love these speakers

Great addition to the Sony HT900 soundbar for surround sound - makes it like a 5.1 system. You will not be disappointed. Wireless connection to the soundbar, but need to plug into electric socket for power.
