Sony let down
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not waste your hard earned money. I had high expectations for these little speakers, but was extremely disappointed with their lack of performance & quality; you can hardly hear them, they are barely discernable. I have been purchasing Sony products since the 1970's -- this was a big let down.

internet connection keeps dropping & reconnecting
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these rear speakers to go with my new Sony TV and Sony HTZ9F Sound Bar / Wireless Subwoofer. BIG MISTAKE! DO NOT BUY. The internet connection keeps dropping and reconnecting. I was embarrassed in front of 17 family members during Thanksgiving as we all gathered to watch football. The audio would cut in and out from the rear speakers and the subwoofer. I paid for the internet provider to come out and take a look and as I thought no issues with my network. The issue is the SONY WIRELESS JUNK EQUIPMENT I purchased. I threw away the box to my soundbar like an idiot or else I would return to the store. I don't complain, but I want to warn others and save them from frustration.

Troubleshoot a lot
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Speakers work well when they work, but it requires so much troubleshooting when the soundbar is connected to multiple devices.

Good speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A good speaker just wish the sound would go up past 12 on them that way there is more sound coming from behind you then in front.

Not worth the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to pair with compatible soundbar, but very poor volume. At loudest volume setting I had to be only inches from the speakers to hear anything. Overpriced system...returned speakers and Sony soundbar and upgraded to a Sonos Playbar with Sonos One rear surround speakers.

Constantly cuts in and out
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a Sony TV, so figured the Sound bar and Rear Speakers w/ Sub-woofer would pair easily. The rear speakers and sub-woofer constantly cut in and out while watching TV. This is quite annoying, especially if you're watching a movie or sports. Thought it was my wireless connection at first, but it's not. Regardless of how much you pay for something (to a certain extent anyways), the product should work, not sometimes, but all the time. Recommend finding a better product.

A Must-Have For HT-Z9F Owners
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sony SA-Z9R is quite a simple set of rear speakers for the HT-Z9F wireless soundbar and subwoofer. If you own the HT-Z9F and want to step your game up to a 5.1 surround sound setup, the SA-Z9R allows you to make that transition very easily. Just like how the subwoofer from the HT-Z9F wirelessly pairs to the soundbar, the SA-Z9R rear speakers also pair to the soundbar, which means you only need to worry about providing power to each speaker. This makes cable management much simpler compared to traditional wired setups. Simply mount each speaker however you prefer, and then plug each speaker into the wall! While there are pairing buttons on each speaker, my speakers automatically paired to the HT-Z9F soundbar. So how is the sound? From my experience, excellent. The best experience will certainly come from properly positioning your rear speakers. But once you have them set up, the rear speakers add a new element of immersion to your Sony surround setup. And the best part is how easy it is to integrate into your existing HT-Z9F setup.
