Not worth the investment. Why should I buy an extended warranty to go beyond 45 days?

The speakers would not stay connected. Disappointed so returned it.

The rear speakers are a delight to setup. Fast pairing and all you need is a power outlet -- no cables required. The downside is they're downright weak. I ended up parking them immediately behind me and cranked the volume to the max. Once that was done, though, I loved the result. They are an absolute must with the soundbar.

You should absolutely get these if you have the matching soundbar (HTZ9F). They are great speakers and complete the immersive sound of that Dolby ATMOS soundbar. I dropped a star only because they are dedicated to the HTZ9F and will not work with others. That’s too bad. I suppose it's Sony's way of doing some very targeted market segmentation, whereas, I think they should have sold it as a complete kit with the soundbar. Regardless, extremely easy to set up, with great clarity, and no noise or other interference like in lower quality speakers.

If you purchase the Sony HT-Z9F soundbar these rear speakers are also a must. The depth and sense of surround they help add to the soundbar cannot be understated. They are wireless all you need to do is plug them into a power source, and I must say I was a bit worried that I would get audio drops here and there since where I live there are tons of Wi fi signals around. But I never once heard and audio drops or crackling or any loss of of sound quality. The settings for the soundbar help you adjust the volume for each speaker individually which helps a ton. I highly recommend getting these speakers.

Speakers cut out frequently so I ended up going with Sonos.

VERY POOR NO SAOUND VERY SCRACHY WONT RECOMEND TO A FRIEND

I got the Sony HT-ZF9 soundbar and sub with the Atmos technology for that immersive sound. But after trying it and not really getting a true surround sound, I decided to get these Sony rear speakers to complete the unit. They are awesome!!! true surround sound without having to run speaker wire around the whole room. just plug them in and they wirelessly connect to the soundbar. You can control the sound with the remote from the soundbar too. while watching movies crank it up and get movie theater sound or late at night just turn them off and just use the soundbar. great addition to the home theater.

These speakers could not be easier to install. You literally take them out of the box and plug them in. They will automatically connect to the Sony Sound Bar and start playing. No fuss, no muss. I would give them 5 stars just for that alone. However, I have to deduct a star for sound. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or my room is too big, or it varies by program, but the sound doesn't get very loud. I'm a NASCAR fan, and I was looking forward to feeling like my couch was at the infield of a race. Sadly, this didn't happen. Don't get me wrong - the sound that does come out is good, but you have to put your ear right against the speaker. This is my first surround sound system so maybe I expected too much. My living room and kitchen/dining area are one big open room. I have a couch that separates the living and dining spaces, with a sofa table behind it. This is where I put the speakers (I was not comfortable going through the wall to run the plug). In a smaller space, it may make more of an impact. I really do like them, but they just don't meet my expectations.

These set of wireless speakers are specifically designed to pair the Sony Z9F Soundbar, and the result is amazing. The quality sound is outstanding, and they are good looking too. They also have the option for Wall mount, and Setup and install is easy. Just be sure to locate the correct speaker in the right position, I mean either Right or Left, it looks like the sw or firmare of the unit that takes care of the pairing and positioning is very sensitive about this and if you don’t have the right speaker in the correct position you are going to experience disconnections. Overall they are a perfect match and same level of quality for the Z9F Sony Soundbar

I highly recommend this unit if you purchased the HT-Z9F system. This way you will truly experience Sony's Vertical Surround Engine, It is wireless as it connects via bluetooth. However you still need to plug into a power source.

Excellent sound easy to connect !! Love Sony products

This pair of rear speakers are the finishing touch to the sony HT-Z9f soundbar and subwoofer. Thus turning it into a true 5.1 system. As with the companion product, these rear speakers produce perfect highs and mids. We have mounted them to the walls in our master bedroom. Even at high volume, the speakers don't exhibit an ounce of "speaker dance" that other brand's models produce. If you have the companion product, there really is no reason that you shouldn't just complete the system with these speakers. Your movies, tv shows, and music will thank you!

I recently received the Sony HT-Z9F 3.1 Atmos soundbar (7.1.2 emulated) for review. While this is a great sounding system on its own the addition of these wireless rear speakers enhanced the sound experience. I noted even more separation of the sound position. Pairing these is a breeze plug them in and they pair wirelessly automatically. If you purchase the HT-Z9F I highly recommend adding these speakers.
