I bought this speaker to use as a conference call speaker and it works great. You do need to be within 3' for the person to hear you at a normal tone however, it does do what I needed it to do.

I bought this because my car radio was becoming intermittent. I use my smartphone with an FM radio app and it works great. The sound of the Sony is full, with acceptable low end. I also use it outside of the car and find that I get far more use than I originally thought I would. If you are looking for a low cost speaker to enhance your smartphone or other blue tooth device, this should be on your list to check out.

This speaker is great for the size and price. I put it inside a large coffee mug to project louder. its a great buy for the price and I would definitely buy another one.

SONY has done it again. This small Bluetooth speaker has great sound- both lows and highs - with rock and pop music from my iPhone. I have owned several Bluetooth speakers of different brands and different prices. Most sounded average. Some were so cheaply made, they didn’t last very long. This speaker has a hard rubber covering that makes it waterproof and is protected when dropped. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Small but with great sound, lots of bass, not like others. Can take the speaker anywhere with me.

This is better in term of battery performance than the previous version srs x11, though the sound on srs x11 sounds better as it has more bass, but this new version is waterproof and longer hours 16! Also this one is more rugged I think, another thing on this one it is somewhat 360 sound thought you can point the sound to you buy using the attached ring chain and use it as a stand.. Be careful as the unit vibrates sometimes it falls or moves from its position

I took my Sony to a sporting event and it made for a great back up to the primary sound system that went out. Great sound enjoyed by all. My husband and i now own two, one blue one silver.

I purchased this small Sony Bluetooth speaker online. I had looked around and knew I wanted something that sounded better than a small squawk box. This little gem has more bass than your typical small Bluetooth speaker. The XB stands for Extra Bass. It won't bounce the floor, but for easy listening it's great. It comes with a "cradle" that allows you to tip it in your direction if you want. Sony makes good stuff, and this is one fine example.

I am just a normal college student with no awesome Bluetooth system in my car so I thought 'why not get a speaker?' I shopped EVERYWHERE. Bestbuy had what I was looking for, for the right price, and picked it up at the store around the corner before work. I was blasting tunes down the highway on my way. No need to charge it first time. Just easily connect it to my phone and BAM I was jamming to Death Cab for Cutie. Great sounds. Easy set up.

The speaker has really good sound and is worth the cost. My only complaint is that it sometimes fights me when trying to establish a link for the first time with a new system. However once it has been paired with a blue tooth device it hooks up right away.

This Sony portable speaker provides great battery life and simple setup. The sound is very good, but not great (limited by the tiny speaker size).

We had tried another speaker and it was so badly designed that moisture got into the speaker and broke it within 2 weeks. This one is much better designed, has better sound and we love it. We use it a couple of different ways: hubby loves it to listen to books or even news tv broadcasts while in hot tub; I prefer tunes while in hot tub. If you can get something on your iPad/phone using BlueTooth, you can hear it on speaker. Excellent.

Loud enough to hear in a medium room, easy to connect and lasts a while on a charge.
