Not a very big speaker and not a very good sound for the price

Had to turn volume up tp four to get sound Returned this

I use an iPhone. These may work better with android, but not at all well with iOS. I have problems connecting to the speaker; then synching the second using is hot or miss. Also they battery status does not show up so I never know when to plug in to recharge.

The sound quality is muffled and the Bluetooth constantly disconnects. Very frustrating to keep restarting to listen to music

Let me start by saying this... I LOVE SONY products. But this?? Bought one for my son and then later for myself.... I should've actually listed to the one my son had. #FailOnThisOneSONY.

The speaker popped in 5 days. I wasn't even using it that loud. I probably kept my iPhone volume at about half way or a little less than halfway.

Used only 4-5 times and Suddenly its stops working and not stating up. Tried reset option as well but not working....

I have expected a high quality sound but it is not as expected. I did nit like the item. Since I hve crossed the return days policy I cannotreturnthis item.

I just tried everything at Best Buy under 100 dollars and there really is no contest. This little guy had the clearest, most balanced sound by far. Surprising considering it's size. Anything else around 50 or less is going to seriously lack bass in comparison and/or get distorted at high levels. The 100 dollar speakers are louder but have vastly inferior sound quality. No real negatives except I wish they sold a bigger, more powerful version. It's loud enough for a small family BBQ but it's not house party loud.

If you are looking for a rich room filling sound from a compact bluetooth speaker, stop reading now and spend the $150+ on a Bose or Sonos. For about $50 or so, the Sony XB10 gives you ample sound. The vocals are clear, along with high range. The low range, including bass, is some what muted, but for a small speaker, it delivers an worthy punch. When I tried this outside, much of the sound was lost due to no walls to help reflect the sound waves. I hate turning up the volume as this is a sure way to cause damage to any speaker. Set up very easy via Bluetooth (for those of you that havent figured out how to connect via bluetooh, you are able to connect with a good ole fashion wire). One interesting thing about this speaker is that you can pair an additional speaker to create a RIGHT and LEFT stereo unit. I have yet to try this as I am debating whether to spend more money. Im always suspicious about "water resistance" designs. So Ill just leave that for those of you that have actually tried to use this in the rain. Battery life is on point. The price point is fair as I wouldn't be upset if someone decided to steal at the beach or ruined by a summer down pour.

Horrible due to static issue resulting in poor sound quality. Definitely would not recommend.

One of the best speakers for a good dorm room shower. I have used this speakers since day 0 of my undergraduate degree till almost the end of my graduate degree. It is still working flawlessly and in great condition.

It's ok not a good speaker sounds like those $15 speakers you buy at Walmart would not buy it again never buy a Sony product again

Hard to see the buttons for power and volume. Had Less expensive Jam speakers that worked much better. Returned the product.

I'm a Realtor and wanted something for background music at open house. This little speaker is easy to use, puts out a great sound for the price, and if it disappears my day won't be ruined. I can always find a place to tuck it where it's heard but not easily seen. (I prefer to put it high on furniture next to a wall, where the bass is enhanced.) A few people have had trouble pairing it but it worked seamlessly for me. I've used it with an iPhone 6, and a Mac Book Air without problems.

My husband purchased this for me and with 2 months it longer would link with any device. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Sound drops or goes away when turned up seemed much louder in store I really want my money back

I bought two of these for my screened porch. With the push of a button they recognize each other, sync, and then turn into stereo. I have them ten feet apart at about five feet off the ground on little shelves I made. (Still need to paint the little shelves --see photo). They sound incredible and fill the porch (and back yard) with sound. And for only eighty bucks a pair? What a deal. Then there's the battery. These aren't six or eight hour batteries. They are about sixteen. I ran them for several hours a day for three days. Then I wired the chargers to where they are always near the back of each unit. If they run low I can plug them in where they sit and keep listening. It took me about ten minutes or so to figure them out, but now it's so easy. I walk up to the unit and push the power button, and then push the other unit's power. That's it. Open my phone and listen to music. One speaker starts, then the other joins a second later, and then full stereo for hours. When I'm done I only touch the power button on one and they both shut off. They might have an auto shutoff but I'm not sure. I'm extremely satisfied with these.

Wouldn’t get this again, just wasn’t happy with it took it back the same day

Thought these would be great being Sony but even with 2 the volume is too low.
