First: My wife and I are old folks, grandparents of a Millenial. We are fine with classic rock, really like classical, but are not fans of the new-fangled stuff. Using the demo mode on the units at my local Best Buy, not only did I dislike any of the tracks playing, but they sounded pretty thin & tinny on this speaker, marginally tinnier than some about twice the price. But the demo tracks seem to be the problem--lots of exaggerated treble and screechy singers. I finally just said "what the heck" and bought this speaker. We got it home, charged it, paired it with our iPhones, played iclassical.com--and we were delighted. The bass is solid but doesn't sound exaggerated, and the frequency response seems quite balanced. No distortion, wide dynamic range. It is far beyond not only our iPhones' speakers, but a CD/radio we have that has Bluetooth linking. We are going to use this when cooking in the kitchen, in the living room when doing crafts, etc. It seems really well-made, and is easily carried. The water-resistance is not a big deal to us, but might be handy at some time. This is a reasonably-priced speaker and seems do do what we need.

This is a very good small Bluetooth Speaker. The sound volume will fill a small room and the sound quality is very good. Lots of bass and clear high notes. I successfully paired and connected to two Android devices and three Apple devices. It is 3" round and 3 1/2" high. It weighs 8.6 oz. The manual says that it will last 5 hrs. at max volume and 16 hrs. at volume 10 (don't know what that means, but it lasted 14.5 hours at room filling volume) It recharged in 4 hrs. If you have two or them, they can be set up for 2 channel sound. My only slight complaint is the "stealth" markings. They can hardly be seen. Overall, a very good product.

This speaker has a lot of bass for being so small. That being said, that's not necessarily a good thing. On songs with lots of bass, the speaker vibrates. It literally vibrated off of my dresser and off of my table. I had to put it on top of one of those rubber round things that helps you open pickle jars, to keep it from bouncing around. This is my 3rd small blue tooth speaker, and I have not had this issue with any of the others. If you don't feel like chasing your speaker around the house, you might want to look into another speaker option.

I bought this bluetooth speaker as a gift for a friend. My friend told me that it works great. The speaker sounds fantastic and despite its tiny size, it gets REALLY loud, but maintains great sound quality.

Holds a charge well. We have it in the bathroom and it holds up great with all the water and humidity

This speaker is great!. It has excellent bass and great price. Definitely recommend this especially to use around the house because it has a very high volume level.!!!!

This thing packs a wallop for how small it is. Tons of rich warm bass, but the highs are still intact. Battery life is also good.

Sony speaker brings a lot of great clear sound for such a small speaker

I wasn't expecting too much sound quality for the size of this speaker. It sounds amazing! I love the rubber grip! You control the volume from the source which is nice because other brands let you control the volume from both the speaker and the source, which can alter the sound quality. It sounds very nice for the price. I wouldn't say Bose quality, but one step below, in my opinion. I recommend you buy it. Sony seems to be doing good things lately! Glad I got it! Can't wait to take to the beach or out to the patio grill!

I bought this for our office, small office, 3 cubes. I am less than 7 feet from it and it constantly cuts out. The sound is great, but it definitely does NOT have the range it claims. Would not recommend.

If you're looking for a small portable speaker with great sound at a relatively affordable price the XB10 fills that role nicely.

First off, this speaker isn't worth the MSRP of $59.99 by any stretch. It's really not a whole lot louder than the Sony XB01. Both speakers are water resistant, but not water proof. This means the XB10 will be able to withstand some splashes and wetness, but don't submerge it in water. Overall sound quality is decent for it's size, but it doesn't have a much bass output for being touted as a "Extra Bass" speaker. It's not very loud, either, even at max volume. This would work best as a shower/bathroom speaker or maybe a smaller room indoors. Outside the sound will get lost in the openness and what bass is present will disappear with the output. Build quality is pretty solid, but I don't care much for the buttons not being raised up so you can feel them. They sit underneath the rubberized shell that the speaker is covered with. The speaker comes with a cord attached to a rubberized ring that can be used to sit the speaker facing horizontally instead of the vertical design it has sitting upright. Two speakers can also easily be paired together if you have a second XB10 on deck. Overall, this speaker gets a 3.5/5 stars from me and that is when it's priced on sale for around $30-$35. At $60 this wouldn't even be worth a purchase. It's a bit limited in output and bass capability, but has a decent battery life for a smaller speaker. Use this speaker where it will perform it's best and it's worth a buy on sale.

The clarity and fullness of sound from this little speaker is stunning. I am very happy with it and plan to purchase a few for holiday presents for friends and family. Do not hesitate in buying this speaker.

I’m using this on my bathroom counter (not in the shower!). I listen to music through an app on my phone. I like that as soon as I turn the speaker on and start the music it connects automatically

I remember when my would clean the house with the surround sound with wired stereo boxes around the house. She would turn the music on when we had guests or when it was time to clean the house. I was able to clean up and downstairs my modest sized home and it felt like that bulky wired surround sound coming from a compact little cylinder. Highly impressed!

Works perfect with my phone and tablet. long battery life and base is good.

I am a college student, I have been used it for a year and I love this speaker, it served me well. However, when I switch from Spotify to Youtube or watching videos from Facebook, Instagram, or Snap, the sound does not go through and I mostly have to turn off then turn on my speaker again or I have to use my phone's/ PC's speaker. This is the biggest bummer so far I had.
