It is small compact so I like that. It was very easyto sync with the phones. It has nice sound to it too.

Great product and has good sound. It’s extremely portable can fit in my purse. It also holds a good charge.

Easy to set up and the sound is just beautiful, played it outside on Halloween with Halloween songs and sounds, everyone who came (178) just loved it and danced down the driveway once they got their candy.

This 11/25/2018 review pertains to the Sony XB10 Portable Blue Tooth Speaker (Black). There is good and not so good regarding these two speakers I bought on 09/16/2018. The good: really excellent all around sound. The not so good: these speakers are finicky regarding their placement. Generally, they seem to be most comfortable with uninterrupted line-of-sight placement. Too often even very short distances, and large or small objects located between the speakers and the sound source (in my case, a notebook computer), cause a speaker to loose signal. So, to make these speakers behave, I must be most careful about placement and distance. The previous Jam2 speakers I owned, other than sound quality, were far superior regarding distance and placement. On a lesser note, the controls for these speakers are small, lightly 'printed' on the exterior and difficult to see in poor light. Once again, the Jam2 speakers turned on and off with a push of a button on the bottom of the device (and located in the middle), so even a blind person in a dark room could find that button. In the end, I kept these speakers as the sound quality outweighed the somewhat annoying placement and visibility of controls disappointments. My rating would have been a solid 5 rather than a weak 4 if not for these issues. On the recommendation selection, there should perhaps be a 'maybe' offering added to the 'yes' or 'no' choices.

A perfect little speaker. Not too big, but has a nice big sound. It is perfect for close range outdoors or inside an average size room. I only bought one, but it says you can connect two together for stereo effect, which would be nice for parties. I'm enjoying mine for my needs. Probably not good for large groups or large areas. It has a nice deep bass sound that makes it sound much bigger than it actually is.

I was looking for a very small and portable BT speaker to use when traveling, enjoying the outdoors, etc. I knew ahead of time that I would be sacrificing sound quality for size, but this little Sony BT speaker provided a good balance. As to be expected, it's lacking in low end, but it's otherwise a decent sounding speaker. So far the battery life has been solid and the ability to pair with another speaker for stereo is a nice feature. One caveat - I purchased this speaker on a really good sale. At full price, I'd probably opt to spend another $10-$20 and sacrifice portability for audio quality.

I purchased this speaker for our holiday family gathering. It played loud enough over 25+ people from my daughter's iPhone. When we switched to my Android, there was no problem. Great purchase!!

This is actually the 4th speaker of this model that we have purchased. It makes for a perfect gift, and it's one of our favorite things. This little light weight speaker packs a great sound. It is incredibly durable and I especially like the matte finish and surface. It allows for durability when tossing the speaker in to a duffel to go camping, or take in a backpack for an event. Do yourself a favor, you will not regret purchasing this Sony speaker.

I had a gift card I used to purchase this. So, it was like a treat to myself. I use it in conjunction with my laptop and love how it has increased the quality of sound on everything, EVERYTHING!

This was a great purchase, small size, about the size of a fist, easy to carry around and great sound.
