A little disappointed, however good enogh for that price. Battery last for ever, confy to tale everwhere

While we are glad to hear about your satisfaction with the long-lasting battery life, portable design, and reasonable price of your XB100, we are sorry if its loudness didn't live up to your expectations. For the loudness as well as the sound quality of the speaker, this usually depends on the source that you're playing and audio device that you are using. You can turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device to isolate the problem. Also, take note that sound becomes low while in use when the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port.
Additionally, the SRS-XB100 can also be paired with another SRS-XB100 if you want an even bigger sound.

Nice sound for a small speaker

Not very loud in an outdoor party setting. Perfect for a hotel room or golf cart. Great sound in a quieter place. You would need a bigger speaker for a pool party.

For $60 I was expecting less. it's better than I expected, never a problem connecting to bluetooth and the sound is pretty great in terms of how small this thing is. Typical Sony sound signature done well. No complaints.

No bass, but nice quality

Gotta have my bass, this has none. I do love it though. Easy to turn on, connect to bluetooth, and I use it in the shower! The only thing that I dislike is that I cannot change the track/song, via the speaker, like I can with my Sony headphones. I tried using the same method, but it didn't work. So that was a bummer.

Has great bottom/bass, unlike so many others of this size. I also really like that it has a fabric tab that lets the speaker be attached to things... works great hanging from the handle bar of my bicycle :)

I’m a Bose fan but needed something affordable STAT so did some research and grabbed this little guy. OMG when I saw great I mean GREAT! This was for a car my MIL gave to us. My satellite radio, hands free loving self had a slight first world problem - her 2009 vehicle never heard of satellite radio or Bluetooth. I got this speaker to hook up to my radio app and take/make calls hands free. Everyone I spoke to on the phone said I sounded clearer than ever and they couldn’t hear the road noise. This thing is a life saver! (It was a long drive - NYC to FL in the 2009, I needed my tech)
