The Sony XB100 , especially in this Orange colorway is one of the nicest looking and feeling speakers I've seen, held, owned. It's also sturdy, having dropped it once, only to find it was unharmed (thankfully). I have mostly used the speaker in a small space, say a bathroom area! and found the quality of the sound from the speaker is very good, solid bass though as others noted, overall a bit low unless you crank up the volume. Again small spaces shouldn't be an issue and I believe you can pair 2 XB100's together if you need even more juice!. Also depends on what it's connected to. One funky part I had was in connecting a new device to the speaker, it can take a few tries (especially if you previously connected to the figure and deleted that connection). May need to reset the device. once connected however, it's a seemless connection. As for battey life, not sure on overall / max ensurance, the longest I've used it was for 7 hours, and it worked without fail. If looking for compact, unique design (easy to find in this or blue color), with call feature, I would recommmend this speaker, especially on sale!

I really like this speaker, which replaced an old model. It sounds great, very easy to connect and operate, long battery life, and just the right size for my use, and at a really good price. It also has a greater connectivity range than my older one. I recommend it.

i like the size and the sound quality. im on the fence about the battery life though which is not bad at all, but also not excellent. overall recommend, especially if its on sale.

Speaker is a small size but the sound is better quality than some larger ones. Connected easily to all my devices.

I've been very happy with this speaker. The sound quality is clear with surprisingly good bass for such a compact size. It's lightweight, easy to carry, and the battery lasts a long time. The sound quality is extremely good, no matter what volume you have it at. It is quite bassy at times which could be a bit overwhelming for some people. But that would be the only complaint I could see from other perspectives. It’s compact, loud, and does its job extremely well. Highly recommend for a cheaper but good quality speaker.

Got this bluetooth speaker on a sweet special sale price and I had to have it. It is perfect for my use in the office and home when I want to listen to my podcasts & videos. Battery life is good & the sound quality is great for my particular use. I am proud & pleased with it and would get another one when the price is right at another sale. It works great for handsfree phone calls too and no one is the wiser that I am talking via a bluetooth speaker mic.

I love this little guy. The sound is great and I can take it into the shower with me or my kayak. My grandbaby loved it so much on our road trip listening to nursery rhymes I had to get hime one too!

I was able to get an XB100 Sony Compact Bluetooth Speaker at the exact right time from the Tech Insider program! We took this little speaker on a family vacation so my kids could listen to something different in the back of the van than we did up front. First thing I noticed was that this speaker, for how small it is, was able to get very loud! I could hear it pretty well from the front seat of the 12 passenger van at freeway speeds. While the box claims to get 16 hours per charge we were getting maybe 8-10 hours but also had it up much louder than the paperwork included said (it says on 25 but there’s not really a gauge of what the volume is). Inside the box is the speaker with warranty info, quickstart guide, and instructions for use. Unlike some speakers I was pleased to find a nylon/fabric loop to hang the speaker if you want, although the loop is made of a plastic hook on one side and a stitched loop at the end of the other that slides over the hook. The lack of a full closure makes me hesitant to hang it from anything more than a foot or so but the fabric seems strong so it may be OK. On the speaker you have a power button with charge indicator light below, Bluetooth indicator/pair button, play/pause/answer phone button above a mic (yes, it lets you take hands free calls too), and finally the volume up and down buttons. There’s also a USB-C charge port under a connected rubber plug that sits flush when not charging. I love the size of the speaker and that it’s smallness doesn’t feel like I’m missing out on big sound, its clear and offers enough volume to hear in a noisy environment (obviously your milage may vary based on tastes and how refined your hearing/listening is). The ability to pick it up without looking and use the buttons based on raised icons is nice but not unique to this speaker (although the soda can size/shape makes it easier than most to keep a solid grip while finding the button on the side). If I really think about it the only thing I found disappointing was the hanging loop seeming a little sketchy for higher positioning (and looking at it I might be able to cut it off and modify a camping strap or something around the metal pin the strap wraps around). If you’re looking for a small speaker that doesn’t mind getting wet for camping, beach trips, road trips, etc. then I’d recommend this little round speaker. I didn’t drop test it or anything and as I’ve mentioned I can’t speak to how that strap will stay connected long term but if you’re even halfway careful this shouldn’t be an issue. Recommended highly!

Perfect speaker for traveling. Sounds great, has a great range. Small enough to fit in most bags, has a clip to clip on to straps easily, can connect to more than one device at once. Never have needed to play it at highest volume. Very high quality product, great price. Was perfect for our cruise.

I am extremely happy with these Bluetooth speakers. First of all, I am a big fan of the Sony brand. The technology that they have now with their speakers means that I will have multiple ways to enjoy my music. I can now connect up to 100 speakers via Bluetooth. I already have two of the large speakers at home along with the boombox. I love this technology and the quality of the sound. I had no reservations when I bought these little speakers that they would sound good as well. They do they have a full sound and nice highs for a complete experience. I got two for right now while I’m away from home and while I’m sitting at my desk when they connect one says left and the other says right and then they say connected. I then can enjoy stereo sound while I work. The charging is really nice. You charge via USB and the charge holds for at least 3 days with heavy use. If I want to bring them with me, they have a strap that makes it convenient to hook it on just about anything. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Good sound and battery life is exceptional. Compact design makes it easy to travel with and the color selections are very nice.

If you're looking for a good sounding bluetooth speaker without spending a lot of money I highly recommend this one! I wasn't expecting this kind of sound quality from a speaker this small and inexpensive! Feels really well made in your hands too, and not cheap, or like it will fall apart easily. It's also the perfect size to fit in a cup holder! Which was really great for me, since I bought it as a quick fix when my car radio broke.

Nice rich vented bass reflex sound for such a small package. Portable, long play time, quick re-charge. Pairing is simple. Buttons are very accessible and easily operated with water resistance covering.
