Occasionally the quality of the sound is somewhat muffled and not as clear as I would like it to be. That may be due to the caller's connection.

For optimum performance, make sure that the software version of the speaker is up-to-date ( via the Sony | Music Center). You may also find these steps helpful:
-During a video call, the sound quality may deteriorate depending on the conditions of the communication link.
-Move the speaker away from a device such as a microwave oven and a wireless LAN access point.
-Bring the BLUETOOTH device closer to the speaker. If there is any obstacle between the speaker and the BLUETOOTH device, move it out of the way.
-Locate the speaker farther away from a TV, radio or tuner, etc. since noise may occur in broadcasts.

Tried to use it for music video productions, was way too quiet. Needed something louder but it got the job done. That’s all it did though, you pay for what you get.
