Small beast

It fits in her coat pocket but still has some size and weight to it. It packs a good punch and the sound quality is excellent especially considering the price. This was a “best” buy. Lol

Volume too low

The problem is the volume is way too low on this speaker. I can get better volume on the phone itself than the volume from this speaker. But it’s cheap and it works.

Does just fine indoors

It does, however, deliver more than adequate sound in terms of volume and quality to a room indoors. I've been very happy with the purchase.

I also own several JBL speakers ( like 6 ) However, I have slowly started purchasing Sony speakers and love the sound quality and battery life is easily better than Bose or JBL compared with similar sized speakers.

Big Sound in a Small Package!

Despite its small size, the sound quality is rich, clear, and surprisingly powerful. The bass is deeper than I expected, and vocals come through crisp and well-balanced

Has great bottom/bass, unlike so many others of this size. I also really like that it has a fabric tab that lets the speaker be attached to things... works great hanging from the handle bar of my bicycle :)

Great Sound

The group on our bus enjoyed the sound quality and we were able to use it at a couple of schools we visited there.

Fits in my car’s cupholder and has been getting the job done while my radio’s been broken. Only thing is it does NOT have a 16 hour battery life like it claims, more like 5 hours. :/

A little disappointed, however good enogh for that price. Battery last for ever, confy to tale everwhere

Thanks for commenting. While we are glad to hear about your satisfaction with the long-lasting battery life, portable design, and reasonable price of your XB100, we are sorry if its loudness didn't live up to your expectations. For the loudness as well as the sound quality of the speaker, this usually depends on the source that you're playing and audio device that you are using. You can turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device to isolate the problem. Also, take note that sound becomes low while in use when the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port.
Additionally, the SRS-XB100 can also be paired with another SRS-XB100 if you want an even bigger sound.

Not very loud in an outdoor party setting. Perfect for a hotel room or golf cart. Great sound in a quieter place. You would need a bigger speaker for a pool party.
