We're truly sorry the volume is not working as expected on your XB100 speaker, we'd love to help you resolve it.

Firstly, make sure the volume level is high enough on the playback source and make sure the speakers has enough batterie.

Then, press and hold the power button on the speaker for 8 seconds while it is off to restart it.

Lastly, while the speaker is turned on, press and hold the – (volume) button and the BLUETOOTH button until the speaker turns off (5 seconds or more) to do a factory reset.

We hope this helps with the volume as it should definitely be louder than the phone.

Hi Cheonghye, Thanks for sharing your experience with the Sony XB100 Portable speaker. We're sorry if your are having trouble pairing with your laptop. The SRSXB100 speaker is designed to pair with a computer. Make sure that the speaker is in pairing mode. In the event that the speaker is paired with a BLUETOOTH device for the first time after purchase or in the event after the speaker is initialized (the speaker has no pairing information), the speaker automatically enters pairing mode when it is turned on. To pair the speaker with a second or subsequent BLUETOOTH device (when the speaker has pairing information of other BLUETOOTH devices), press the (BLUETOOTH) button of the speaker. You will hear the voice guidance (Pairing) from the speaker and the (BLUETOOTH) indicator starts double flashing (pairing mode). Select [SRS-XB100] from the Bluetooth settings on your laptop.
