Hi AaronB, thanks for choosing and purchasing our product. We're sorry to hear that you have an issue with your Sony unit. The SRS-XB100 and the SRS-XG300 are both excellent speakers, but unfortunately, they do not support syncing with each other. The SRS-XB100 is designed for individual use and does not have the capability to pair with other speaker models for synchronized playback. This is why you were unable to sync it with your SRS-XG300. However, it's great to hear that you found a good use for the SRS-XB100 on your golf cart, as it is indeed a good option for portable and affordable sound.

Additional information: The SRS-XB100 has the Stereo Pair function. By connecting 2 speakers via a BLUETOOTH connection, you can enjoy more powerful sound. One speaker plays the sound on the left channel (left side), while the other speaker plays the sound on the right channel (right side) for stereo playback between the speakers. To use the Stereo Pair function, 2 SRS-XB100 speakers are required. Please check this link for more details:

We regret to hear that you are not satisfied with the speaker. Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. For optimum performance, make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction:

-When the built-in battery is running low and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly, while the speaker is being powered by the built-in battery only.

-When the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port.

-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

Please also note that the sound performance may vary depending on the specific environment, including factors such as wind, background noise, and open spaces, which may affect the perceived loudness.

In some cases, you might find that the speaker's sound may not be as loud as desired for outdoor use, especially in noisy or wide-open areas. For optimal sound quality and performance, we recommend using the speaker primarily for indoor purposes, where environmental factors are more likely controlled, and you can fully enjoy its audio capabilities.

We apologize, the SRS-XB100 is designed for audio devices like music players and smartphones that support Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profile for wireless headphones & speakers' connection and not intended for PlayStation 5.

You can connect our XB100 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker to your television (via Bluetooth- the TV must support Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile)) so you can get the audio from the PlayStation 5.

When listening to music wirelessly with 2 speakers using the Stereo Pair function, we highly recommend placing the speakers away from devices such as a microwave oven, a wireless LAN access point, a TV, radio or tuner, etc., that could affect the Bluetooth connection quality as well as the sound quality. Make sure to turn up the volume of the speakers and the connected device.

Also, the sound may become low in the following cases like if the built-in battery is running low and the charge indicator flashes slowly. In this case, turn off the speaker and charge the built-in battery sufficiently. You may also use the Sony Music Center app to customize and adjust audio settings depending in your preference.
