I was trying to use it while washing my motorcycle and it was not loud enough to hear very well while moving around. I was hoping for more volume, but has amazing sound quality.

I have to say, this Sony unit is pretty dang good. The sound is very full and balanced for the price. Would buy another one if I needed to.
