Thank you for the review and we do apologize for the inconvenience. The sound quality of the speaker will depend in the source that you're playing. Also, the sound may become low in the following cases like if the built-in battery is running low and the charge indicator flashes slowly. In this case, turn off the speaker and charge the built-in battery sufficiently. You may also use the Sony Music Center app to customize and adjust audio settings depending in your preference.

Thank you for your review, and we are sorry if the max volume/loudness of our XB100 didn't live up to your expectations. This is not the experience we were hoping you would have. For the loudness as well as the sound quality of the speaker, this usually depends on the source that you're playing and audio device that you are using. You can turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device to isolate the problem. Also, take note that sound becomes low while in use when the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port.

Additionally, the SRS-XB100 can also be paired with another SRS-XB100 if you want an even bigger sound.
