Great sound. For such a small speaker the quality is a 10/10. Everything about this speaker screams quality. This is the type of speaker you put throughout your whole home. You can link up to 10 of them.

I am very impressed with the XB20. I am planning to use this on the porch when streaming video from my laptop, but it's winter now. Instead I have been using it while my laptop is connected up to the TV. Even tough the speakers on the TV have the same wattage, the XB20 is way better. The sound is much crisper and the base is really good. I have also listened to music from my iPhone and the audio is great on that as well. I haven't experienced any choppiness or lag in the sound, so the Bluetooth connection is really good. Connecting the XB20 to my laptop and iPhone was really easy. I can actually have the laptop and iPhone connected at the same time, the iPhone will take precedence. I would definitely recommend this!

When I use it first, the sound is quite tight. After breaking- in for about a week, the sound came to life. Clarity and bass showed up. I tested it with lowest bass song and it performed well.

I had 2 of these speakers. Both stopped working within a couple months. Returned it for a sonos

i did not like this product it is cheap and dies quick

This has very low sound and bluetooth range is very less. Gets disconnected very often

Bought during thanksgiving 2017 Still rocks , the only downside I don’t receive the firmware update post 2019. Sony must consider regular updates to the existing model while releasing new models they kind of forget to bring updates to the relatively old product & thats where likes of apple boseexcells

Lacks the base way too pitch in music lacks bass..

I HAVE NOT GOTTEN ONE YET BUT THIS THURSDAY I AM GOING TO. I LISTENED TO THIS IN THE STORE WITH MY I POD HOOKED UP WOW WHAT A GREAT SOUNDING LITTLE SPEAKER, THE BASS BOOST IS AWESOME. LOOKING TO HOOK IT TO MY WORK DESKTOP BECAUSE IT SO SMALL IT WILL NOT TAKE UP SO MUCH SPACE.

This set up in less than a minute and connected right to my Android. Tested with Pandora and it sounded fantastic. I'm not sure what the max distance from source is but I am able to carry it around my entire townhouse (upstairs and downstairs) with the source sitting on my desk in the living room. It never lost signal no matter where I went in the house with it. Being water resistant, I love that I can set it down in the bathroom with me while I take a shower and not have to worry about ruining anything. The "Extra Bass" setting makes a huge difference and really sounds nice and full. Very convenient and I can't wait to take it to the beach this summer or out on the boat. The dancing LED lights on it are pretty cool but I ended up turning them off after the novelty wore off. I'm glad there's an option to shut them off. Definitely recommend this and I'm sure the bigger ones are even better

My old car audio has problems, this was a cost-effective solution. It does music, navigation, and speakerphone from my smartphone. When the battery is low, it SAYS "please charge." And it sounds good, loud enough to use in a car at highway speeds.

This is a very fine Bluetooth speaker. It feels solid and well made, and the buttons in particular have a very premium quality to them. Pairing with phone, PC or tablet is easy and intuitive. I have not tried some of the advanced pairing features, such as using multiple speakers at once. The sound from the speaker is very good, I would say on a par with the Bose Mini. With the addition of the "Extra Bass" there is an additional punch, that is appropriate for some types of music. Given the advertised price, this device is an excellent value and highly recommended for anyone who would like portable sound. It's even waterproof!

My radio went out and I have this thing sitting in the dash of my truck. The sound is great, it's louder than the Jam thrill that I had in there. It's pretty durable. I've dropped it a couple times. Great battery life

For a small speaker the sound is good. But for me it has two negatives. First, no AC power cord. Second, the speaker has to be OFF in order to charge. If the speaker is plugged into USB it will play but not charge. The engineering behind this escapes me. The speaker was returned and replaced with the Sony XB 30.

These speakers deliver high volume sound with hard bass, smooth mids, and clear treble. The led lights are syncopated and create a mesmerizingly beautiful display. I love these speakers and I think that they’re awesome.
