The sound quality is great, but at least once every other time we try to use it, the connection starts breaking up and having issues. This doesn't happen with a different brand Bluetooth speaker that we have in another room. Sometimes it's bad enough to where it just drops the connection completely. We had an older model of this speaker, the SRS-XB2, and had the same issues. Luckily we got the protection plan and brought it back and exchanged it for the SRS-XB20 with no problem, hoping that the issue may have just been with the older model and not the newer ones. But that wasn't the case. I think it's safe to say we'll be swapping this one out for a completely different brand.

Such an Amazing speaker for such a small item! The sound fills up my entire room, and I can even hear it outside of my house on the loudest volume. Worth every penny!

The sound quality is good. But the speaker was frequently getting switched off by itself after 20 days of use. Now its been 2 days its not getting switched on. Its not even charging.

I have had this for almost a year now and I have to say I have not enjoyed having this speaker. The music sounds great but after about an hour or two the volume goes way down, you can't turn it up. Then a few hours later it needs to be charged. I found out from someone else's reveiw that if you listen to it loud and have the base on it drains the battery quicker. If I knew this before purchasing I would have never got it. I like my music loud with some base, especially when our neighbors upstairs are being loud. So I need that. I also don't like the option of only being able to charge it on my computer. Also can't play it while charging and it takes over a day to fully charge. Why would you even make something like this with all these down falls. My last iPod speakers were better then this and it was not even a major name brand. All this speaker is to me is a big pain in the butt

The sound is excellent, and no cords or worry about iPhone plug upgrade! I am enjoying the awesome sound right now!

When I first got this speaker going it sounded great, but that was with downloaded music. If I stream on Spotify, Pandora or other apps, the sound is crackly, and to make matters worse, the connection drops, then re-establishes, but by then I have to press play again - not too handy when I'm in the shower! No such problems with my other bluetooth devices - Bose SoundLink speaker II and AirPods. I brought the first one back, demonstrated the issue to the young lady at customer service and got another one to try. The 2nd one is even worse! I will be bringing it back again and hopefully getting something else. Too bad, I like the look & feel, the price, and the sound when it's not crackling!

distorted sound, crackling and eventually drops blue tooth connection when playing Apple Music iPhone 7plus, IOS 11.02. Plays fine w/ You Tube. All my other bluetooth devices are fine: car audio , Plantronics ear pieces, Flip3, and Bose Resolve.

This speaker has a nice bass sound and the lights flashing with each song is a nice feature. Only thing about it after awhile the battery stopped telling me when it was about to die and just turns off

Such a great product. Highly recommend. 10/10. Love it.

Overall a good portable small speaker with pretty good decent volume

Don't get me wrong, these are amazing speakers, but I also one the xb30s, and the 20s just don't compare. I would personally go with the xb30s.

I have just purchased two of the XB-20s just because I would connect two or more speakers. Opened the box and the user guide is basically a very poor flow chart. Not only that... I followed all the “instructions” and tried to pair both speakers for four consecutive hours and gave up. It will not connect both speakers together. Period. I will be returning both speakers today and buy two other speakers from a different company that claim you can connect in chain mode. Other than that the speakers sounded ok.. nothing impressive.

Purchased speaker for blue tooth music. It paired fine with new iphone 8 (IOS 11) but had connection issues. It would play any song then drop theconnection. At times playing ANY song it would become garbled. After trying multiple remedies to fix (rechare, re pair, reposition spk, gave up and returned to store. NOT REC FOR IPHONE 8/IPAD IOS11

This speaker is a great speaker. I bough it mainly of the name of Sony name. But there is one little problem I had with it. When I when to pick it up at the store in Surprise, well that was another story. One that made me decided never to pickup anything else from that store. I will go and I have gone to another one for a lot BETTER SERVICE.

I loved this speaker for several months. It has really great sound. However, after a few months it started losing connection to my iPad. I have tried it in several locations with the same result. It reconnects after I turn it off for a few minutes, but quickly loses its connection again. Very disappointed!

Speaker is great when fully charged, once it gets down to 70% it like to constantly turn its self off. its frustrating that i cant use the full battery. i got it for Christmas and have already tried repairing my phone to it and resetting the speaker.

The speaker was great the first few times and then the battery started to die. Now it can hardly last 30 minuets and I have only had it for 2 months

It was a really cool speaker, but it only lasted 10 months?? It randomly shuts off and now it won't even connect to anything. The name will show up under bluetooth settings, but fails to connect every time. Sadly I could find the box but it must not have been bought on the best buy card, so I have no receipt to return it or I would. From the reviews I can't tell if I am the only one with this problem or not because none of the reviews talk about it after a period of time, but I would not suggest this speaker. For the money get something that will last longer.

I keep having to reconnect. The bluetooth always drops. i was going to fill my house with these and use the party mode to link them, Thank God i stopped with just one. Its now in the kids bathroom so they can listen to music in the shower. Pretty sad application for a speaker like this, DO NOT BUY
